Couldn't think which to use.

The first big win for Transfer U.

DG and the Ukraine combine for Svite win.

San Antonio here we come.

Duke Choke

Refs fail in Omaha.

Self regrets calling Jayhawks Soft.

Preston regrets driving into curb

KU improves from Final 5 to Final 4 in one game.

ESPN's 10th best sweet 16 team knocks off ESPN's 2nd and 3rd best sweet 16 team.

Kansas wins Big12 and ACC championship.

Coach Self's best coaching job yet.

Coach K would have lost this game by 25 if he was playing with Kansas' lineup.

God credited for great defense on Allen missed shot.

"Duke needs this win" spoken by CBS reporter at beginning of game.

"Kansas stuns Duke" Yes Yahoo, a 1 seed beating a 2 seed is a stunner.

"Villanova playing better than anyone in tournament" From Yahoo after Nova beat teams that KU has 5 wins against in the tournament.

"Does Duke have a legitimate gripe with the refs?" This headline was just on the Yahoo front page.

"Did Duke get jobbed by refs in overtime of Kansas thriller?" Read another headline. Wow.

Yahoo being real dicks (there you go @jaybate-1-0 )

@wissox Duke was stunned, so that headline was accurate! Maybe if they had paid closer attention to something other than their press clippings, they would not have been.

Transfer U is really going to be humming next year. :ok_hand_tone2:

@BShark The Malik story of buying in stands as inspiration to those that might possibly resist.

Mar 26, 2018 02:28 AM #5

@HighEliteMajor It can only help with the Lawsons. They see the result of buying in first hand.

Mar 26, 2018 02:30 AM #6

@BShark @HighEliteMajor So, the Lawsons have to continue the F4 tradition of transfers. Walters, Stewart, Young, Withey, Newman,...Lawsons?

God credited for great defense on Allen missed shot.- funny stuff!

@StLJhawk Just played the end of regulation on the CBSSports replay. Man, even though I know what happened it still bumps my adrenaline level way too high!

Charge/Block Call was Huge. I personally felt like he was in position. Refs missed a lot of calls. I cannot beliece one as close as that one went in our favor. Game changer.

Mar 26, 2018 02:39 AM #10

@StLJhawk Ghosts of the Phog made it up to Omaha!

Mar 26, 2018 02:44 AM #11

@Blown But they missed a bunch of rebounding fouls by Duke so it evens out. He was moving left, and the refs don't get to see it again and again like we did. It was so close to when our guy went into the air that it could have easily been seen the other way. The replay shows that Carter actually had no need to move his right foot--it looked like a bigger move because he is so long.

@wissox Aren't you glad Preston DID hit the curb? It would have sucked to have had to vacate this wonderful ride. And we would not have had the awesome Silvio plot line. I bet he is really kicking himself, poor kid.

Mar 26, 2018 02:57 AM #14

@Fightsongwriter Not convinced Preston plays a second even without that incident.

Mar 26, 2018 03:20 AM #15

@BShark

Time will tell but you could be right.

Mar 26, 2018 03:31 AM #16

@JayHawkFanToo Feels like we never actually know for sure. Maybe well down the line.

@HighEliteMajor compare to story of Trae's recruitment and season meltdown.

Headline options continued...

"Tsk. Tsk. Tsk. – they say I can’t play defense." ~Malik Newman

In the locker room afterward, someone handed Newman a final box score. He looked, not at his glorious line but at Allen’s. The Duke senior scored 12 points, but hit only 3 of 13 shots. And of course, there was that critical miss. (USA Today)
