I am soooo ready for Game time - -but yet nervous - -I'm going to be a total mess by Saturday - -I mean JUMPIN - - -GEE - -HOSSA - - FATS - -how do you guys do it? I watch that one on none run and gun slam fest that was suppose to be an All Star game last night - -the question is- -where was the game? - it was just about one guy run down the floor slam dunk it - -then someone else run down and launch some kind of 3 pt shot - but hey it was something to pass the time - -how the hell do you guys do it - -HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP. -- ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

@jayballer73 Crosswords and solitaire games are how I made it thru 2 Royals World Series runs. NY Times has a fun mini crossword everyday that can be completed in 5 mins or less.

@jayballer73 I'm actually enjoying the week.....enjoying my team being in the FF. It gets mentioned all the time and I never get tired of hearing it.

I will hopefully be driving over to San Antonio tomorrow afternoon. I already have my ticket for the game on Saturday so I'm insanely excited about that and got a hotel room in San Antonio for under $150.

@jayballer73 I'm distracting myself. My very late selection in my mlb fantasy baseball draft of Matt Davidson has me giddy as can be ( sorry, Royals fans ), as Mr 2 outcomes ( HR or strike out ) got the big enchilada on opening day. 3 HRs 4 runs scored, and 5 rbis. Not too shabby. Hope he doesn't strike out 4 straight times next game.

It's been a long week but I realized around Tuesday I needed this break in the action. I barely slept going into Sunday and barely slept Sunday night for work on Monday. That's how much of an emotional roller coaster the game and win was. 2012 was a long time ago (at least it felt that way) so I had forgot what this joy of making the big stage felt like. I'm enjoying all of it and absolutely can keep soaking it in until Saturday Night. If the game goes as planned I expect to be running on adrenaline until who knows when, I might just have to take a few personal days next week to take it all in.
