@BShark I mean, even Luinstra will be able to hold his own at practice I think.

But yea, EJ is the type of guy that could find his way into minutes by his 3rd or 4th year.

@Kcmatt7 In terms of playing quality both are solid for walk-ons. But make no mistake why EJ is on the team.

A side note yes I understand that Doke - - - Mitch not listed - -but still young

@jayballer73 Cunliffe, Dedric, KJ and Moore will all be in their 3rd or 4th years. Doke in his 3rd. Mitch in his 3rd.

That's 6 guys that have plenty of experience.

Then you add a Sophomore Garrett in that group and a 2nd year De Sousa and all of a sudden this team doesn't seem so young.

To me, it is the perfect balance of youth and experience. If Bill could keep a balance like this, I'd be pretty happy.

This is a young group, but still plenty of college experience. The concern may end up being a lack of experience in March from the rotation guys. The Lawson's and Moore didn't play in the NCAA tournament at their previous schools and as good as the non conference and Big 12 is, the NCAA tournament is different beast entirely so there's no real way to know how they'll handle that situation. We know Doke and Garrett should be fine because they each handled their first NCAA's fine, but the rest are the question marks. I realistically believe this team can enter the NCAA Tournament with 30+ wins this year. The talent level is there for this as I believe this is the second most talented team Bill Self has ever had at KU behind the title team in 2008.

We haven't heard anything about Vick and his possible return, but if Moore has taken his jersey #, doesn't that tell us something?
