Jamal Khashoggi
Oct 23, 2018 12:30 PM #1

It appears that Jamal Khashoggi, US permanent resident and an international journalist, was brutally killed by KSA hit men in their Istanbul consulate. Saudi leadership has changed the story a few times.

Here in US there is debate on what America should do on this incident. There is tremendous money tied up with Saudis especially in weapon sales which President Trump has openly said that he does not want to jeopardize at any cost, $110B.

How do others feel about this situation.

@AsadZ I think we need to follow the great Christian leader Pat Robertson's lead on this one. Weapons sales are Biblically mandated for any great nation and far more important than principle. I mean, since journalists are the "enemies of the people" there should be nothing wrong with stamping out a few. Plus, those damn Yeminis have too many school buses and kids anyway, so selling the Saudis more missiles is a much greater priority than any moral imperatives of actually following one of those 10 Commandments our society desperately insists we need posted in schools.

The sad thing is I could see this being a serious post, from someone else. Not saying anyone here of course...

Today's The Daily is all about the rise of MBS, and Trump's relationship with him.

The Saudis outright lied about him being alive, then lied about him being killed in a fight.

It's as if the truth doesn't matter anymore and you can just continue to tell lies if it keeps you in power.

Wait a second...
