Hurts, don't it ?
Jan 10, 2019 05:42 PM #1

So, as long as I'm being stupid, why is no one talking about Jalen Hurts on these boards?

Is it because you are all rational?

What's the chances that Les has been in contact?

I'm done - I'll go take my medicine now.

Idk I think with our OC spot now vacant, it would be a long shot, maybe even if he'd of stayed.

@Kcmatt7 Yes, his 26-2 record as a starter is kind of ho-hum by KU standards....

@nuleafjhawk It's more the whole being surrounded by NFL caliber players at every single position and throwing only 23 TDs, and 19TDs. When Tua went out and threw 43 his first year as a starter with basically the same weapons....

@Kcmatt7 Right. But we're KU. Twenty-three TD's don't sound bad to me. That's 2-3 years worth for us.

@nuleafjhawk lol well I guess my point is that I think he'd struggle to throw 15 TDs for a team so void of talent...

@Kcmatt7 Fine. We'll just stick with what we've got.

@nuleafjhawk turning into a KU fb fan?

Jan 10, 2019 08:24 PM #11

@Crimsonorblue22 Oh, I've always been one!! An extremely disappointed one for many years, but still a fan.

KU Football is on an upward direction now. I am for KU to leave the Big 12, Texas and Oklahoma behind. Both States are Southern and Kansas is in the Midwest. Two divergent mindsets. Until we leave the Big 12, we will have no success. Only more crap from the former Southern Division Schools. I believe we would hurt a lot less if we had Iowa, Nebraska, Illinois, Northwestern and Minnesota rather than put up with the Big 12 south. The future of KU Athletics run through the Big 10.

Tate Martell in the Transfer Portal now as well. Now that one is intriguing... He'd have 3 years of eligibility remaining.
