After the game during the ESPN interview during Sports Center, Self said he can't remember a tougher 4 game line up.
I still don't know what to expect of this years team. We could win all four or lose them all.
I do not see anyway they win all 4 games. If I had to guess right now I would say they will go 1-3. I just do not see this team winning on the road right now. They should be able to win at Texas, but nothing they have shown this year suggest they will.
I am not sure they have the fortitude to win in Manhattan. Without a Senior leader that environment could eat them up.

I have written or thought over these last 15 years, that each year we might not win the Big 12. So if I feel that way now, we will probably win it again.
I wonder if Bill sees the UK game as less important in the long run, and could be willing to let mistakes be major teaching moments. If a loss, then he motivates the kids (i.e., kicks their butts to Jupiter) for the following trio which are conf games.
Brutal stretch especially on the road where we look terrible. Hopefully this ISU win was a jolt of energy for this stretch

On the evident of the last 5 or 6 games, I would have to agree. our boys just not quite gelling right now. They have bursts, but then look bad right after. If Vick AND Lawson can both have explosive games then maybe that would carry us to 2 and 2 or 3 and 1, but 1 and 3 feels the most realistic.
No matter what happens, I’ll be happy with consistent Dedicated Defensive play for our team. That usually is the first sign of a team becoming a TEAM.
(Let’s hope I’m dead wrong!)

@mayjay I think Bill takes a lot of pride in competing against the top programs and Cal. It is obviously not nearly as important as a league game, but would be one hell of a road win / resume building win. I worry UK will kill KU on the glass.
I'm with you I think it will be a nightmare on the boards. -- I'm afraid Reid is going to pretty much have his way with Dedric just bully his way around the rim. -Reid - - Washington and Haggins - -might be interesting to see Haggins and Dotson - -I just think to much length couple of really good shooters coming on lately - -Herro is really shooting the ball - -could be a very long night.
I could see us going 2-2, I dont think we go 1-3, we have played like it alot lately but I have more faith in our coaches/players than that.
