Going 0-18 in conference play, 6-30 in the last two will help facilitate your exit.

I wonder if Drew left before they figured out how he landed Garland & Shittu and was in the bidding for Indiana's savoir Romeo..

Interesting. Didn’t see the Drew firing. Looks like we will have some decent turnover in the college ranks this year.
Avery Johnson leaving as well.
Question is, will KU lose an assistant this offseason?

Danny can thank his agent for getting that huge buyout in his contract. Hopefully he can put together a decent team next year and turn it around.

@Woodrow Returning his top 6 scorers I believe. Should at the very least see an improvement over this season.

Only possibility would be Howard as far as leaving for a HC job. Townsend could be fired depending on the investigations, NCAA and FBI. Norm is the only one that I don't see leaving although he might be attractive for a low major program looking for someone with high major experience.

I think KT has the best chance at not being on the sidelines next year because of the FBI/NCAA investigations.

@Kcmatt7 who could they get any better in that conference?

Drew was 0-18 in conference this year, his record got worse every single year. You cant win less than 30% of your conference games and hang around.

He really did get screwed by injury this year. Garland is an absolute stud.

He just started recruiting well and has a solid young base to build from.

I thought another year was the right call.
