Any additional signings- Wilson and Walker would fit in with this team's makeup. Walker I've seen can be a bit feisty but that's something Self can work with. Wilson seems to have a good head on his shoulders.

Your right , Kyree can be feisty at times - -but the kind of feisty he has I want. - -I love his edge , it's ok you good - let them know it , you got game - -you can back your game - -then hell ya , let them know this is YOUR COURT. - I think we could use someone who has some edge. I don't know how many times I have watch KU games - -a player for us makes a really huge play late in the game critical point and they do what they do and then just turn around and jog back to the other end - -places like that where they SHOULD be a little Demonstrative - let the opposing team/ - the fans - -let them know - -YA I DID THAT - NOW WHAT? -I DID THAT - edge never hurt anyone little cockiness to them as long as you can back it up. - - -GET SOME

Of course you don't want someone who talks personal to other players but for the game it'self - -HELL YA. - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

I'm hoping this team will be drama-free. I'd rather see that then us sign a 5-star drama dude. This team has plenty of good chemistry and the right tone... starting right out in front with Devon.

In fact... at this point.. I feel like adding an elite would likely crush our chances next year. It seems they all carry drama with them, if for no other reason then the herd of media following their every move. That is all a huge distraction to the team.

From the looks of things, this should be a great group chemistry wise. No huge egos, no guts with handlers thinking they’re better than Self, and just a lot of really chill guys. Except after the tip. Then you get rekt

Depends on the team and the player I think. The 01-02 KU team that went to the Final Four had 3 important freshman named Wayne Simien, Aaron Miles, and Keith Langford. They also had Michael Lee. The 07-08 team that won a championship had a freshman named Cole Aldrich, who had a pretty important Final Four game against Tyler Hansbrough. I think KU has enough upperclassmen that a freshman or two can be thrown into the mix without compromising the overall team chemistry and tone. If one freshman can ruin a team the leadership's probably not that great to begin with.

From what I've seen, Jalen isn't much like RJ in terms of personality, even though they are friends. I can't say about Walker, though.

Yeah, our defense has been lacking for awhile now. It would be nice to see them defend the three again.

@FarmerJayhawk seeing the pics it strikes me that they all are guys that will eat nails and love KU. With Q and Vick we had bad juju going. Psyched up for this group to get back to chopping wood!!!

As I have said, I am much more excited about this group than I was last. These guys have a chance to be special.
