Respect on this sick Spring/Summer recovery.
Yea, I'm pretty stoked. I usually don't prowl the boards here much til fall, but ol Bill 'damncanIrecruitforaNonNikeschool' really outdid himself this time coming off a challenging year. Now if everyone can stay healthy and play nice we will kick some serious azz
Suddenly we have one of the most fun minutes/rotation discussions available to us in awhile.
Team 1 : Dotson, Moss, Ochai, Silvio, Doke.
Team 2 : Marcus, McBride, JW, Mitch or Enaruna, Big Dave. Slip Braun in to the 2 or the 3 off the bench.
Both teams would make the NCAA tournament. 1 would be a 1 seed, the other would be a top 5 seed. It's too bad we couldn't have a JV team, and have them play Wichita St and Missourah.
This might be my favorite roster in quite some time. Bill Self should bask in its glory. He deserves it.
And the incessant stench of presumed OADs and that drama/entitlement nowhere to be found.
See how fun this is? We can really survive with no presumed OADs.
Now, if we go 20-14, finish 4th in the Big 12, and we just aren't very good, I'll gladly reconsider the position I've droned on about.
@HighEliteMajor I know I'm repeating myself here but... My favorite thing about the incoming recruiting class is zero handlers. Of course our top two post players are handler kids, but I wouldn't mind seeing going away from it in the future.
I also think it's pretty fortunate we still have Silvio and Doke, but it is important to note that while high ranked neither was expected to be OAD. I think originally both were expected to be 2 years with the potential of staying longer. Obviously things worked out. I'd rather have Dot and Doke than any 5* presumed OAD that we might have instead.
I think we are headed for 30+ wins this season.

Well said. Unlike last season, I have a feeling about this team. Didn't feel it last year.
