Disgraceful voting. Way to add more salt to the wounds voters!
Myles Powell shouldn't be on the 1st team. Several players deserved it over him.
Complete joke
Proof that scoring numbers are still a driving force to 1st team. I'm done with College Basketball for a while
Powell averages 21.0 points per game and Dotson averages 18.1, but Powell shoots 7% worse from the field than Dotson (Dotson 46.8%, Powell 39.8%), so it's not even really an advantage for Powell.
Dotson is pretty much better in every other statistic and is on the #1 team in the country. Ya it's a joke.
Apparently the voters have never heard about the concept of efficiency. Who are these people?
This makes me sad.

I don't blame you what so ever. - How in the F - - - can they vote these guys when let me list : - -Both played on the # 1 final ranking of teams in America , # 2 - - - Both played and were the leaders of the team that won their Conference AGAIN . # 3 One of them was named on the final 5 for the Naismith as the Best player In the College game , # 4 A player that led the NATION IN FG % . # 5 - - Two key players on a team that led the Nation in defense, and yet NEITHER of these players can make 1st team All American - -Jesus this is so screwed up ! ! ! !
I rank ESPN as second rate gutter trash, so I guess we are even.

This is the AP team, not ESPN and the reason why is because they took votes from each other.
I'd like to see AA teams from The Athletic...much more integrity and intelligence.
@Texas-Hawk-10 Whoops. Good point. I need to differentiate better between the lame forces of college basketball. :)
