Ryan on the Phog had this to say. Figured this was worth copypasting here for those that don't visit that forum.
"I'll preface with this: my source for Thompson info has been the same as my source for Grimes stuff. He knows them both very, very well and coached them extensively.
His big thing with Thompson is that A) he is a ridiculous shot-maker, but not necessarily a straight-up great long-range shooter and B ) he has a far better work ethic and attitude than Grimes ever did. That's the thing he emphasized to me the most was the work ethic was NBA level and his attitude was great. The shooting thing is to emphasize that he probably won't come in and be 3pt bomber, but the kid has a knack for always making shots. He also think he'll be a really dynamic fit alongside Marcus Garrett."
