Wow. Judge rules he must answer questions under oath about improper benefits....How quickly can Nike squash this??

Ha. it's good the Judge has ordered this , however you know & I know that some how some way Zion - - Nike & Duke will find SOME way to worm their way around this. - You can take it to the bank Zion's lawyers will try and appeal the Judge's decision if that's even possible - -in the End Zion and Rat face will still come out smelling like a rose. - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Not a chance, Zion has too much money at stake to weasel his way out of this. He's not going to give a damn about what happens to Duke at this point because his refusal to testify is going to cost him millions of dollars because unlike a criminal case, refusal to testify or plead the 5th in a civil case can be used against a person.

Already read just now where his attorneys said they WILL APEAL -EXACTLY WHAT I SAID and they feel they have a really good chance of this being overturned and referred to a case of some Soccer player , I knew it that's Zion & Duke

Zion's Attorney's looking to have this overturned citing an earlier case out of North Carolina with the same parties &claims has precedence.
A tweet from Daniel Wallach who is a legal Analyst with the Athletic said : He believes todays court ruling has a high likelihood of being reversed by Florida's Third District Court of Appeals.
the reason being that the Judge really has no discretion to deny an outright stay, based on 3rd DCA precedent from a case involving former NHL player Sergei Federou.
Zion's Attorney's are asking the Judge from THAT case to void I guess Zion's marketing agreement with Ford & Prim Sports Marketing claiming it wasn't a valid contract because Ford wasn't a registered agent in the State of North Carolina & the Contract didn't include a warning that is required by a State law designed to protect Amateur Athletes from Unscrupulous agents.
