Baseball is trying so hard to ruin itself for the future. Both sides butchered this situation so badly and I'm fully expecting a work stoppage next year when the CBA is up that will further alienate its fans.

@FarmerJayhawk At this point I'll take anything. First season to look forward to in 7 or 8 years for me, and it doesn't happen.

Any idea on plans for next year? SC could use some good teachers if you have no interest in money or a comfortable climate, and if you want to lose your mind over the nitwits running the legislature and boards of education!

@mayjay No more moves for us! I'm grateful to have received an offer to teach in a different district. Getting a decent raise out of the deal too. Not too many years I've gone up 20% but this will be one of them!
And of course not. No joy at all from 2016. I hope they lose all 60 games this year.

Thanks! I’m still skeptical too of any games. Covid being reported among PGA players. LSU got a lot of football players quarantined now.
