I'm on the East Coast as well and have seen plenty of their games. They are the same team that beat us last year just a year older. They have a lot of guys who shoot the 3 ball well but overall they have Chemistry. Pinkston has sacrificed some of his offense for the overall strength of the team. While they may not have the flashy wins that some teams have, I clearly believe they are a team that will do well no matter the opponent. They have toughness and I think they can go as far as the matchups go.

Have they played the schedule KU has, No but few have and our inconsistency's in conference play hurt our chances at a #1 seed.

I think he's done plenty to solidify playing time from now on. I can't believe it took injuries to give him a real chance, Hunter seems to have a confidence in himselves

I would say we want to be in the Duke or Virginia brackets. I'm not basing this off yesterdays results either because they both lost to good teams. Virginia doesn't look the same with Anderson back and they want to muddy the game up just like KU has done recently. I think we can match up better with Virginia than say Nova. Duke, is all 3 point shooting or nothing so they could always lose in the first round like last year. So right now I'd say we want to be in those brackets

We should definitely give Hunter some more minutes. I really like his ability to block and alter shots in the lane. Lucas needs some rest..

Well I think we have to be happy we made the finals without Ellis the first game and him getting the rust off yesterday.

It's going to take a superior shooting performance to beat Iowa St. its that simple. We will have to continue to work out of that 3 ball shooting slump.

Bad ball won't do it today, we won't be able to muddy the game up like we have because we don't matchup well with them. Niang always seems to have his career game, Hogue always finds himself open for 3's.

I hope these guys remember transition defense was the key to beating them in Lawrence and will be just as importance today. So I don't expect we will get many offensive boards if we miss a lot of shots.

Mason, Oubre, Selden are all going to have to hit double figure points. Ellis will need his 14-16 points as well.

I'm going to believe we can win this game because yesterday showed me that they have the toughness. We owe the crap clones from last year so hopefully Self gets these guys up on the revenge factor

Duke's body of work is going to have them with a #1 seed. Road wins at Wisconsin & Virginia carry a lot of weight. They had won 12 games in a row until that loss yesterday so while they didn't win anything their body of work really keeps them up there. Plus its Duke, they get more coddling than any team not named UNC.

This year is very top heavy, I think if Nova wins out they get that last #1 seed. Wisconsin & Arizona are also just as good as anyone on a given day and could get that last seed with Tourney championships. Then you got Gonzaga which has a good team but the weakest resume of any so they are clearly a #2 seed.

Our 13-5 (possible 14-5) record against the Top 50 is insane and probably doesn't get enough credit because we have those 7 losses and inconsistent play. It's a catch 22 sometimes with scheduling, you get rewarded for playing good teams, but if you pile up the losses your reward only goes so far. I think the reward for our schedule is that it would have taken a collapse in the Quarterfinals against TCU to keep us off that #2 line.
