!svi.jpg ↗ This makes the BIG 5!!!
!diallo1.jpg ↗ Diallo in a KU jersey!
Here is my intel on Freguson. He is friends on fb with Diallo, Bragg, and Lucas which gives KU the advantage on that social media outlet. His twitter is full to the max with KU banter which is another good indication for KU. I will start digitally stalking him to keep my friends here at bucket up to date. I completely believe he is a KU lean and that he will commit soon biased on what I have been able to recon from my multiple sources.

College Decision 🙏🏽🏀
He is still sportin the USA Gold.
I don't know if its Crimsonorblue22 but her real name is Lauren Keller according to her fb.
I think he was playing PG for his country's U16 team 2 years ago. The guy is supposedly 6'8 1/2" today!
Look how tall Svi is! If he can still handle the rock like a guard HOLY COW!!!!svi.jpg ↗
Alexander's problem was court awareness. He didn't know where he was supposed to be on the court when our PG called out plays. When HCBS is calling a set play from the bench and you are to stupid to figure out what play is being called or where to place your self you get to sit and think about it for a while. He was actually just starting to figure it out when everyone found out about his off the court issues. Another year would have done him wonders. All of these kids coming out of high school say the same thing "I didn't know there was this much more to basketball". Vick and Bragg said they were learning new stuff daily when they were interviewed just before the WUG.
Kansas should be considered the favorite for the national championship just like the expected 2015-16 elite teams such as the Maryland Terrapins and North Carolina Tar Heels.
This guy is starting to look like a cant miss for next year!
@Lulufulu LOL he is no where near my favorite big man. I wish him the best of luck and maybe he can pay back those loan sharks that tricked hims mama!
If Tyler Self were projected in the first round he would leave too! Basically anyone that is projected to go in the first round leaves just because you have to. There is way too much at stake if you stick around for another year.

He said he is 6'10"-6'11" which would be very good! IF he hits 7 feet this year with his handles he could go #1 next year in the draft?
If Isaiah Austin's tragic medical issues didn't impact the NCAA's position on how they handle things after these kids sign with an agent then Jojo's situation will not challenge their policy's either.
@Crimsonorblue22 He is doing all of the things he normally does. I bet he had some breakfast, some physical therapy, lunch, shooting drills, maybe a class or 2 and he might have even taken a dump? I am just messing around
@Kcmatt7 You will find it cozy in the KU buckets dog house with me. Its all good though at least we have something to talk about this summer.
@Kcmatt7 Thanks! I am really taking a verbal beat down today!

I think its the Glasses!
I feel like I am in a argument at my in-laws where everyone jumps in my Wife's corner. I have a lot of very valid points that could all be contributing factors in Selden's summer transformation! Weight loss, not using a play book (thinking), HCBS not red in the face chewing on players, maturity, letting the game come to him, and last but not least changing positions. Everyone is so focused on the changing of positions that they are dismissing all other factors. HCBS will sniff it out and come November I could be right or all of you could be right? Until then I will stand firmly on my position in this matter.
@drgnslayr You JUST opened the door for a new topic! Was it that Selden was moved to the 3 OR was it that HCBS didn't draw up plays and trusted his guys to make plays??? That would completely fix Selden's THINKING too much issues! Could it be the move from the 2 to the 3 OR the fact that HCBS let his guys just play and Selden didn't have to do a whole lot of thinking? Could be a combination of both OR we might see the same Selden again next year playing the 3? Could also be the weight loss? There are more things to factor than just moving from the 2 to the 3. There was also a lot of talk about HCBS letting the guys play through their mistakes during the WUG. HCBS wasn't red in the face and screaming every time someone turned the ball over. That could factor into how Selden played. Maybe he was more relaxed? Look at how many shots Selden took in the final game? No one player EVER takes that many shots during the regular season especially when they are missing as much as he was.
Ball handling is not so taxing on players that it causes them to disappear in games! Wake up people the difference in Selden is his maturity and letting the game come to him.
I could go dig up where HCBS said Selden can play the 1-3. He is going to transition between the 2-3 all year long. When Graham is at the 1 because Mason is resting he will move to the 2.
@KUSTEVE I would be happy to disagree with you.
How many times have we heard HCBS say Ellis would play some 3 last year? Its the same old broken record. Selden will play the 2 like always. Ellis at the 4 like always.
@KUSTEVE So moving Selden to the 3 had nothing to do with not having a true 3 to take with us to the WUG?
@KUSTEVE That is assuming HCBS moves Selden to the wing permanently. As far as size goes Svi is a 3 and could fill the void Oubre left. No one ever said Selden would play all of his minutes at the 3 moving forward. Selden was successful playing the 3 during the WUG and we were missing 4 of our guys and borrowing a couple. HCBS put his best 5 on the floor which doesn't mean Graham will be better than Selden playing the 2 when the season rolls around. HCBS could go with a taller line up and put Selden right back at the 2 and Svi at the 3. There was a buzz around Seldens play during the WUG and just because he played well doesn't mean he will stop attacking the basket and hitting 3s because he is labeled a 2. What I saw during the WUG was a coming out party and I believe he can do everything we saw this summer playing the 2 spot (except rebounding). A starting back court of Mason, Selden, and Svi could actually happen.
I hope Bragg and Svi are around for the 2016-2017 season. I would like a NCAA championship though and IF that happens and the 2 of them were a big part of the equation I would understand and would be approving of their decision to leave early.
Every year KU men's basketball wins the BIG12. The whole 2nd ball handler debate got me thinking? How much does minimizing the roster turnover effect who starts? Svi is projected to be taken with the 15th pick of the 2017 draft. Selden, Ellis and Diallo are the only KU guys projected in the 2016 draft. IF HCBS starts Svi and Svi is successful next season he could be the 4th Jayhawk to put their name in the NBA hat. Mix in the graduates and you have Traylor, Manning, and Mickelson. At a minimum KU looses 6 guys next season. Neither Mason or Graham are on the draft boards and neither were top ranked guys coming out of high school. Its safe to say that HCBS can start Mason, Graham, and Selden and loose only the guys projected to go due to graduation and NBA draft. Greene, Vick, and Svi are projected in the 2017 draft but Svi being the only one in the top of the first round. Even if Svi is a better option at the 2 why would HCBS start him and jeopardize loosing a 7th guy this year? Less turn over equals a better product for the 2016-2017 season and possibly another BIG12 championship. I sure hope HCBS is out there bustin his butt recruiting to fill all scholarship's.

These guys think Svi will play the 2.

Looks Like some others believe Svi can shake things up. Just because he can play the 2 doesn't mean he will BUT he defiantly could start along side Mason, and Selden.
I was reading up on the toe issue he had called turf toe or something of that nature and it is something that can re-occur more easily after the first time! The partially torn quad is another issue that could rear its ugly head again? I hope I am wrong BUT its not out of the possibility.
If UK would have landed Diallo the UK faithful would be saying he will average 20ppg 15rpg. KU fans hear the hype but never really see it on the court in HCBS system. Wiggins and Jojo had decent numbers during their one year stop. Diallo will be fine.
@JayHawkFanToo He should play the 3 and will pick up some of the minutes Oubre left behind. He could play 15-20 mpg? Graham is a bigger question mark. He missed games his Freshman year with toe problems, then missed the WUG due to another injury. He could have issues again next year and someone will have to be ready if or when it happens.
I sure am glad that we stuck to the topic on this board! CAN DEVONTE REPLACE NIC? Can we all move the stupid bickering about PBJ somewhere else? Maybe you can find a comment section on a Jiffy web site and talk all day about creamy or nutty?
I am starting to get pumped. I think we have a real shot at greatness this year. I know I expect Mason, Graham, Selden, Ellis, and Diallo to kick off games. I think Selden will move to the 2 when ever Svi comes in the game BUT Svi did start last year all the way up until after the first week of December. Svi could shake things up in the rotation. Mickelson did have a really good summer and could start up until some time in December? Its the same 3 that won the gold medal will be the same 3 that carry us in to April 2016.
Diallo was mentioned in every tournament and every summer team he played on with high regards because he plays like the MVP every practice and every time he is on the court. HCBS said Check may play harder than any of the guys they have ever had 7 minute mark.
I wish they could hold another camp and scrimmage so we could all have some video of Diallo squaring off against Withey or Aldritch.

Just putting him on the court with his defensive prowess paired with Ellis is a 1-2 combo!
