I love it and hate it at the same time! Starting out at the bottom of the top 10 and finishing number 1 would be better in my eyes but at least KU is getting the respect I think they deserve. How long can they hold that top spot and will ESPN give them the same ranking? Doubt it!
I have looked at all these lists over the past week or so and thought maybe I would see Cheick on the freshman list, or Svi on the sophomore list, Mason or Selden on the Junior list, or maybe Ellis on the senior list? We are just lucky we have guys at every position that could make a case to be on each of these list and who could start every game at KU this year. The perfect mix of talent and experience this year at every position.
We shall see how AW3 does this season in a much different environment and starting for a school vs KU. He wouldn't have started this year at KU either. I thought he was just a spot up shooter too.

@Texas-Hawk-10 I wouldn't say that Graham will start over Svi or that Hunter will start over Diallo. Self can not have projected first round talent sliding out of the draft or he could miss out on future recruits. I would say that Self has already had some major backlash during his in home visits since Alexander went undrafted. Mark my words Self will play his future pro's from day 1 this year to keep his projected lotto picks from losing millions. These kids and their parents don't want their college choice to effect their future earnings. I hate to say it BUT every coach recruiting against Self is telling these kids and their families that playing for KU and Self could cost them millions. If HCBS doesn't start his future Draft picks from day one (to protect their future earnings) he will not land 1 five star recruit this season and he could potentially have the worst recruiting class during a year with a ton of departures at the end of the season.

That's pretty cool I might have a few questions at some point. I will post some pictures of my new place next month when we move in. 640 acres of country! I drove out there this weekend and saw deer, axis, wild boar, turkey, quail, and dove all on my place. There is a big pond with largemouth bass and a creek running through my property.

I am ready for next spring because I will officially have a chunk of land to start my first garden. We have plans to plant a variety of fruit trees, nut trees and some grapes too! We are going to start making wine and beer with the produce we grow at our new ranch! We have already planned a cruise for spring break next year. My kids will both be out of the house in 2 years so I will need some new activities to keep my self busy lol.
I am going to be able to take in many many many games from here forward for the rest of my life! My Wife and I will be completely debt free in a month! Vacation here I come! We are moving to our new home very soon and I am so excited I need some downers to keep friends and family from sending me to the nut house!
I remember back when KU was signing the contract. I believe it was when HCBS was renewing his contract with KU. HCBS actually said that the Adidas contract completely covered his paycheck, and that the Nike contract was only around half.
There is a difference in caliber of players he was using in his old conference vs the players in the big 12. I was looking at his old roster and found that since 2007 he only had 2 top 100 guys during his tenure at VCU vs 7 on his current roster at UT. Implementing his old coaching style with a group of top 100 players should make a huge difference on the outcome in March. Time will tell.

Interesting take on Graham or Svi. I am truly on the Svi side of the fence specifically based on potential? IF Svi is truly worthy of a top 15 pick in next years draft then he should have a McLemore type season at the 2 and IF he produces anything close to McLemore's numbers we will have a shot at winning it all.

Not only that the NCAA has to review every one of these from every student athlete in every sport from every division 1 school. If I remember right HCBS said he was still working on these forms last weekend. Listing all of the different schools, records, and dates you attended and on and on is probably the hold up.

Cliff didn't pan out last year BUT these lists are what UK bases their whole season on AND how many final 4's have they been in over the past 4 years? This season assuming Diallo qualifies we have ONE of the best starting 5 in the country AND our bench IS the BEST in the country! We have a HUGE advantage in the Depth department just like UK had last season! The list might not be the most creditable source to gauge how a season will pan out but if this is how UK gauges their season then why not KU?

Diallo, Ellis, and Svi made the list! I figured it would have been Wayne, Frank, and Ellis from KU but scouts always drool over ceiling not production.
Josh Jackson is Canadian and has Wiggins on his fb along with Bragg, and Diallo. I think KU is in the running because Wiggins has a HUGE influence on this kid!
