I’m honestly just thrilled we’re getting athletes again. It was such a crazy thing to watch last year with us being unathletic and not being able to shoot.

People continue to roast Bill on Twitter/X for continuing to defend KJ and play him as much. He said the last play was drawn up for KJ (stupid). He defended KJ saying he just had a bad game and then threw Storr and Griffen under the bus. Hes gonna lose this team if he already hasn’t. If he has any coaching sense he’d start the two of them and actually let them play thru those mistakes like he does KJ, Juan and Hunt.

He’s lost this group. And I can’t blame the transfers. You miss one defensive rotation or jumpshot and you’re pulled. KJ gets to go out there and put out a prime Matt Kleinman stat line and gets to play 25 minutes no matter what.

Sucks losing Kugel but man I’m really excited about a wing trio of Rylan, AJ and Rakease. We got shot creation, athleticism and spot up shooting all in one portal season

There’s no solution. They’re just not that talented and outwardly look like they’ve quit on their coach and vice versa.

We just have to wait it out cause Self has a fetish for the core 3. If things look this bad next year with Darryn and Flory then conversations will be had.

We had too many pretty boys like Jamari Traylor said last year. I can deal with losing but not cause we were getting out toughed. Those Houston losses still piss me off

After what I just watched for 30 plus games…sign me up for that. No more smiling after mistakes or players wilting as soon as things get tough.

It’s the truth to a degree to be honest. We don’t have a secondary or third scorer. That’s an issue even if DP is a phenom.
