I live in MN now and my best friend here is a big fan of the ladies BB team. We traveling together to a music rehearsal tonight. Might be an interesting conversation.
Geez , I give up trying to know where this is going with Stokes.- --CBS had a 247 recruiting update and they were saying it’s still a very wide open recruitment. the interview was with Travis Braham from 247
He was saying for about the past month Kentucky has been perceived as the landing spot and most analysts still ; do believe he will end up committing there but Travis was saying that KU was still a very strong . legit player in this recruitment. He says that there is still really strong interest from KU AND from Stokes camp really strong interest from Stokes camp towards KU also.
Travis did say that as of right now he STILL thinks he commits to Kentucky but for sure do not count- -who the heck knows
Part of Oubre decision to attend KU was based on “other” schools making unready players go pro after one year. Oubre’s dad said he wants his son to develop before jumping to the league. At this point Oubre looks like a two year player.
Love it. Enjoyed watching him destroy Dwight Howard (albeit a recovering Dwight Howard) last year in the preseason (link). If JJ Hickson can start there the majority of last season and average a double double, there’s gotta be a role for a rebound first guy like TomRob.
Yep, Keegs offered very little by way of anything new today. What really looms big is the red shirt question…or, perhaps, the transfer question, if more toprated recruits should come aboard.
For instance, if Tyus Jones should sign, someone looks to give up a 2014-15 dream slot…
It’s great to see egos “checked at the door” mentality. I believe Wiggins is as advertised and that to me means he is a humbled young man which means he is teachable. I think the kids coach recruits are that personality they want to learn and coach doesn’t pull strings and sacrifices his coaching ways for these primadonna’s and Wiggins is not like the rest. (make sense).
I think we will make young mistakes but those will be corrected and the ball will be rolling by mid January.
Gundy says what’s on his mind so I think he is spot on. That crap about coaching in the NBA is another way for KuSports to create drama that isn’t there.
