Found this interesting on a discussion about another center I follow Nate Reuvers of Wisconsin who has regressed. The article was critical of his 2 point shots near the basket. Yes there's a stat for that. Nate is 130'th in the country at 60%. The author was saying that's horrible, etc.

So I looked at the link, https://www.barttorvik.com/playerstat.php?link=y&sIndex=40&minht=81&xvalue=undefined&year=2021&minmin=50&start=20201101&end=20210501, ↗ and found BigDave at 160th just above 50%.

I suppose it's gone up some in the last few games too. Dave is a key today.

I expect another grind it out battle in which ultimately we move one win closer to Kentucky on the all time list.

Dave has 3 missed layups

Used to think we were only bad in early games. Doesn't matter what time it is now.

KU was a national championship caliber team last year and we all felt a little robbed. Following up a NC is tough of course. Had we been allowed to win it last year, this underperforming team would be easier to take.

Pretty much agree with all this.

I was watching the Bulls and Charlotte last night. I checked the box to see how Graham was doing (22 in the 1st half!) and there was a highlight of "Lamelo just misses monster jam". So to ESPN a guy missing a dunk is a highlight. He was ill equipped to go up in traffic and dunk but he tried and freaking ESPN thinks it's a highlight.

I'd like to see us getting to the line more. We're 6-7, they're 0-0. It's keeping us in the game.

this has got to be one of the most ugly looking teams I can remember HUGE scoring droughts , sloppy passing - -just basically stumbling all over themselves - -worst shooting teams since GOD knows when least athletic just flat ass UGLY BALL

Like Gurley saying on the radio Broadcast and I've tried to support Dave BUT this guy has had AT LEAST two looks where he just of flushed the dam thing and he wants to finger roll bullshit just ugly

I like Marcus turning it up on offense. I have been bitching all year about him passing up open shots. I think his % is a bit skewed by some late shot clock heaves and his shot is better than his stats. He needs to make people respect his shot.

Marcus 17 points and 10 rebounds. - -To bad no one else on this fricken team knows how to put that little orange thing through the hole.

Like my Coach told our big man and others he woudl get so mad - he say Randall THIS is a BALL - - - THAT is an appartus dammit Randal now take the ball to the appartus. - -he would take a ladder climb up and drop 2 balls through at the same time , would ask if I can put 2 balls through at once why the HELL can't you put one through
