I am alive! No power for 5 days. Transformer blew out Thursday night after getting power on for 1-1/2 hours. Finally the electric coop showed up at 10AM Friday and put in a new transformer. We built our house in 1984 and live 45 miles west of Austin. Lucked out w/water well and pipes and water back on. It was 41 in my house from 4PM Sunday to yesterday.

Congrats for getting your power back. We ended up getting a foot of snow here last weekend but it melted fast. I was lucky enough to keep my power.

This team has absolutely NO interchangeable parts.

I don't think Thompson or Harris off the bench is that bad, but Mitch is almost unplayable. Can't wait until next season when we have Clemence/Curry/Adams

@benshawks08 5 days without power and water. I am on a well and did lots of winterizing the well house so we were fortunate not to have to boil water. Said a 🙏 before turning on faucet for the first time though. I was so worried for my pipes!! So far so good!

Defense has been amazing. They have figured how to muck it up with Dave no longer hard hedging

Embiid's performance was so good last night that it's rubbing off on Dave today.

Neighbors brought hot food Wednesday night but we never heard them and all the food sat outside all night. Surprised the 🦝🐿🐺 didn't help themselves! I felt so bad. Friends put all their food from the freezer into her car that was outside and thought that was smart.

A strong start is sure better than the slow starts we were having regularly for a while. We were up 10-2 to start the game. Up by 6 at half and won by 6. Those first 5 minutes are when we won the game today.

@Crimsonorblue22 I had the chimney sweep come and clean everything out last fall but I couldn't get the damn flue open and then was afraid that I couldn't get it closed and didn't want that much more cold air coming in. Guess I need to lift some weights!

Good win today, but the last 2 are going to be a struggle. Can KU beat a good team on the road and can KU score against Baylor's defense?

I think KU has a chance against Texas on Tuesday because Texas has struggled against the top part of the B12 and their only recent wins have been over KSU×2 and TCU.

Watching first half now. That pass that Dave caught with one hand and threw to Ochai in the corner in one motion was sweet! Too bad about the air ball. Maybe even Ochai was caught up thinking how sweet that pass was.

@Crimsonorblue22 yes but not sure of the %. I went online and didn't find any below $350. Season ticketholders resell to the ticket city type store and you pay out the ass. If I was given ticket hell yes I would go.

Neighbors don't live here full time. Guy a mile away had power the whole time and was mad at me for not calling and everyone was trying to get us to stay with them but we thought everyone else was as bad off as us. And who wants to be miserable with people you don't know well.
Hey what about Texas losing? I couldn't believe it. I saw the fight between the UT players. When I went outside to shovel ice and snow away they were up 15. My 💏 came out and told me they lost. Just finished watching post game w/Dave and HCBS. From what I heard the team is finally jelling together and everyone understands what it takes to #WIN. WDYT?

I'm really excited about having a second year of Bryce.

@BShark not weird. They are not the better team, look at their record and our's. Like I said and right on schedule, KU 2nd or 3rd in conference

The Athletic article just out by CJ Moore discusses KU's better defense.
