Looking at the numbers from the Baylor game, Iowa St had twice as many fouls, and only shot 5 free-throws. I didn't watch the game so maybe they were all legit, but that seems to have been the difference in the game.

The Kansas team that came out in the 2nd half is the Kansas team we've seen all year on the road against good teams. When other teams play good defense, which Texas did in the 2nd half, KU struggles to score.

It's also why I don't have a lot of faith in this team in the NCAA tournament. There's a very long history of teams that struggle to score getting bounced very early in the tournament when they play teams that can score. It's why Virginia has been prone to upsets over the years in the dance.

Free throws make a huge difference and falling down 2 possessions in a row.

Microcosm of him, he has struggled against length his entire career at the basket. I think Texas got in his head on a lot of drives. Same with Dave, you could clearly tell he was pressing and making dumb plays. The fouls are what frustrate me the most. Getting your 2nd 3 minutes into the game, getting your 3rd within 2 minutes of the 2nd half. Those kind of mental mistakes are, well, Dave.
