My son ('24) went to elementary, jr high and now is in high school with Derrick Sangster ('23) who is getting more and more D1 attention.

Wash State contacted him last year as a sophomore. Now it looks like a bunch of WCC schools are recruiting him. I don't know what his interests are... but sure wish KU could build a bridge to this HS (Archbishop Mitty) and their league for recruiting -- It is very competitive in athletics (FB, BB, women's sports) and the speech and debate team has a string of California state titles going since 2015.

A little of both. Avery Johnson seems likely to KSU now. A lot of bigger places have slow played him. KU has recruited him the hardest, but seems like we're the nerd hitting on the prom queen. The RBs will go elsewhere. Nobody seems to know jack on Randle, but it's 100% not KU. We don't have the... resources... to pull that one off. Edwards looks like OU. The OL are tricky. I really, really, really want Otting and Clements but Otting seems to be holding out for Iowa and Clements possibly Baylor. I think KU sits in the second tier with both. Wes Fair is going to KSU. The only local kids I feel good about are Sam Same and Tre Richardson. To a lesser extent Andre Davis. I think we're in the top tier with all those guys, but someone could swoop in and snag Davis if he has a good year.

Rumor is KSU is offering $50k for Kansas guys to sign. I don't know exactly where we are but I know it's not that high.

@FarmerJayhawk Bummer... Just going to have to live in the transfer market for a while. At least we have that instead of JUCOs now. Production at the P5 level vs. hope and a prayer you got the next Alvin Kamara.

Well Farmer THAT'S not exactly chirpy news - - kinda depressing & disapointing to be honest. - Guess bottom line is we have been a door mat for such an extended amount of time thing is these kids ae going to have to see wins- progress on the field before they take a lot of serious interest. Got a feeling mommy and daddy still got a lot to say with these kids Again we gonna have to win them over prove to them that WE ARE NOT A DOORMAT anymore please bring better news in the future big boy lol- just giving you the business guy I know- -we will get there just takes time. We didn't get this bad/low overnight and were not going to be all the way back overnight - - but I see the light

At least we’re getting an opportunity with players of this caliber. Get them in the door and we have a chance. That wouldn’t have been possible under previous leadership.

Next step is to get one or two signed. Then a few more and so on. The tide is turning. You can feel it.

I think a lot of this comes still from past. - A hurt of hurt - -pissed feeling from State Coach's/kids feeling KU just didn't recruit them - -not even look at them give them the time of day - - now it's getting sent back to KU, no fault of Coach. - -It's gonna take some time PLUS some results on the field. - -I know this staff has really been trying to ge things turned around.

We did get Neal last year, if we can get some results on the field maybe snag a player or two from in state it will come

Getting rid of the IC cap for 22 and 23 should open the door to adding more HS guys since we can mine both the portal and high school without worrying about hitting the IC cap. As of now, we'll be at 69 (nice) scholarship guys when fall camp opens. We'll add more, but 2023 should be a really big class between portal, JuCo, and high school. Say we go into the year with 75. We have 7 seniors who will definitely exhaust eligibility plus 12 4th and 5th years who can stick around but many won't. So the 2023 class could be 30+ to get to 85.

Was just wondering WHEN are we going to hear something - - anything good on the recruiting front for this tam. - Sounds god , hopefully maybe things will open up for us some - what you think ? - -Anyone else ? - Sure seems we after those safety's

Farmer got a question. - with this new thing I think they put in place for what the next two yrs ? you know about the amount of Scholi's and how it would help KU get to that 85 number. -Do you think that's going to help us with more players yet in 2022 /

So is this right ? -probably not even close. But with this in place isn't that almost like taking where there almost will be no LOI for these years because before didn't we have a maxinmum of like 25 kids a year ?- -now hell if 30 -- 35 kids wanted to come to KU and play then they can come can't they ?- help us gte a full allotment of kids again

Yeah, I think we land a WR this weekend, then have a good shot at some DL next week.

You’re spot on, my friend. Getting rid of the 25 cap means we can get to 85 without any restrictions. I know we’re still going after guys for this year. We’re getting a JuCo LB on campus next weekend for a visit (I think we land him) and are trying to get in on this guy. I have some great insight into the Louisiana program so you can take it to the bank we’re trying like hell on him. https://ragincajuns.com/sports/football/roster/lorenzo-mccaskill/7932 ↗

We tried with some OL but one went to Tennessee, one to USC, one stayed in JuCo, one flipped to Oregon State, and another might also go back to JuCo. So it’s been a crap shoot.

The rule is also good for 2023 so we can take as many as we want for that class too.

Thanks buddy. I kind of thought that might be the case. Things sound good, l always look forward to your feed back. It's good to have people like yourself that's also invested to out other sport - - -Football , I've said this a 1,00 times but I 100 % think we picked the right Coach as the guy just oooozes class and confidence , I just feel as long as we can keep the jackels in line and give Lance the correct amount of time - -there is NO DOUBT that this is the Coach that's going to get our program back to respectability. - - Thanks Farmer

You know after this past weekend feeling better for 2023. Had a really good weekend. -now we just have to hang onto them. - -We have another WR that we are I thik in good shape with - -talk is he may even announce where he is going today , if not today but soon.

Got a big time Rb coming for visit this weekend 2023 starting to look like could be good yr for us

HS recruiting has really gone better than I expected so far. This staff can absolutely close the deal.

I agree, and we did get the wide receiver Kubecka - -sweet pick up. - hoping for good things from the RB this weekend. Another recruit announcing on the 1st of July either us or Washington st - -think you mentioned him though

For sure. Yeah, that's Logan Brantley. I'm 90% sure he announces for us.

Update: he did!

Tht's good to hear things starting to roll. -Would love to get the running back - - -High - on the roster. - - Chances Farmer ?

He committed to UTSA today. Which surprised everyone!

Ok Farmer , needing your input again. This Weisman kid the QB , Article says he is committing on the 12th of August , says he has been a long time target . Question is , what are our chances? - -OR do we really need him ? I've been reading posts on him off TOS . Do you think we have a shot ?

Also thinking kids name was Randle - what happened with him ?-- - --did he ever commit & where to ?

If Vasko passes him I could see it. Or he might just want to play his 4-5 years and get a degree. We’ll see!

Farmer , I don't know about you - - what you might of been hearing but I guess Vasko has really impressed some people during Camp. - -Always like hearing that kind of news, have you heard anything ? I just think with Daniels , Vasko , & Weisman - -Easter just might be the odd man out. - these other three little more mobile, like Swain has been saying these three can make things happen on the move. - -Easter more of mainly a pocket QB isn't he ?

Sep 14, 2022 08:43 PM #73

Now guys I don't know if we wanna try this kid again. Local kid for me from Topeka, KU had offered I believe as a WR - he wanted RB and committed to New Mexico State I think - -well now de-committed. His High School FINALLY won games this yr, Highland Park they are 2-0 this Season hadn't won a game for years & Years before this anyways some stats from last Friday :

The kid's name is Tre Richardson - -He Scored - - EIGHT TOUCHDOWNS last Fridy Scored all of Highland Parks points - - ( 48 ) last Friday

Rushing Attempts 11 -218 yards - 3 TD's - - Receiving 5 - -251 yards - 4 TD'S - - & Kick off Return - - 1 - -65 yards - -1 TD

Not sure if we gonna even waste time with him again , still think if we do it's still gonna be as WR , good talet , some eye popping numbers - - BUT just not sure

On the football side, BJ Canady is the headliner. But also we'll have a couple commits coming to town, along with Mason Goldman (OT), Aidan Beymehr (TE), Tyler Little (ATH), Buffalo Cruize (OT), and some 2024 guys that will be studs.

Sep 23, 2022 08:18 PM #77

Got a friend of mine that lives in California, and we got a commit from a 3* WR from the school in California that she has a nephew plays - -their family pretty up on things there and says KU GOT A STEAL in this kid. -Thing is I can't remember his name will try to find. - - Sounds good to me

Edit on this , I looked it up. - The only kid from Clifornia we have gotten right now is listed as an Athlete his name is Surahz Buncom - -6'4- -hope they are right

Huge weekend for the football program this weekend. - -Question one is for 2023 & one is for 2024. - -Farmer or anybody but question - - So Farmer , with our success , read where got some big timers really following us, one in 2023 for sure , kinda looks like we just might be back in the Picture for Randle ? - -you heard any updates -- would love to land this kid still - -Then 2024 what is your thoughts on B J Canady the # 1 recruit out of Kansas in 2024 -- kid is a stud -looks like we just might be in a realy good spot with him. - He is making his 2nd visit to Lawrence tomorrow - what ya think ?

Really like the looks of who we are recruiting - -one thing about it - - KU is not backing off the big timers - -not shying away at all - - gotta love who they going after

Sep 23, 2022 09:44 PM #79

Tre Richardson touched the ball 5 times last night - - scored 5 times -- Highland Park wins 74-0 - - This kid needs to be on the roster, he wants to be RB - - KU has offered WR - he needs to wake up this could always switch later

Sep 23, 2022 11:30 PM #80

@jayballer67 BJ is a huge KU fan. Though idk how much that’ll impact his choice.

Nobody really knows anything on Randle. My gut says he ends up in the SEC but I don’t have anything to go on. I think he probably comes to a game at some point.

His mom wants him to go to KU, or at least stay in state. I think he commits to KU by the end of the year as an athlete. KU is super deep at RB, but a guy like him is dangerous in space. If I were him, I would switch to WR for the simple fact that his chances of being a pro at his size (5-10, 165) are better at WR than they are at RB.

Mater Dei is widely regarded as the best football school in California. Picking up a recruit from there is a signal in many ways and could attract talent from other Cal schools. There is so much talent here that some excellent players get overlooked and end up at DII or mid majors out of HS.

Logan is a huge pickup. If anyone can tap into that potential, it's Fuchs. The back room guys did a ton of work on his background and apparently was good to go. 2 years to play 2. Now he is just a verbal and could decommit any time between now and when classes start in January, but he's the type who wanted to get his recruitment done and over with. Hence the radio silence around the whole thing.

We're at best TCU's third closest game. Last week, they kicked a game winning FG as time expired down 2 to win by 1 against Baylor and they went to double OT against OSU after erasing a 14 point 4th quarter deficit.

That's really good to hear, hopefully we can pull a couple of good players from the poral. I really like how we coming around. Lance has done a great job with these guys and thing is we got a lot of them coming back - -probably a couple of Super Seniors

You know there are some people talking about how KU backed into our bowl game , saying we went 1-5 - -and really didn't deserve a bowl game. These were mostly K/State idiots talking to which I have to say this :
KU team played who was put on the field in front of them. - - They have no control of who steps on the field - -they have no control of who's injured with the opposing team - - they have no control if another opposing player is sick. - -All they have control of is themselves , how they play which has been as a very competitive every single game keeping a persons interest except the Texas game. - -This team is closing the gap and I think other teams are becoming a wear - or they BETTER BE. - I am happy with we are at at this point- -think we are actually even a little ahead of schedule so far. - - ROCK CHALK

Nov 28, 2022 10:01 PM #110

@FarmerJayhawk I think we still have some residual "cool" factor right now too. Hopefully the staff has some of the transfers working their connections. I'd take another Ohio State backup or two...

Dec 01, 2022 07:51 PM #114

Couple of things here . One is a question & one view opinion.- -Question is guys , do we start playing our new members this up coming season 2023? - you know Cincinnati - - Houston - - Central Florida - BYU ? -If we do , do we know which one of these schools is on KU'S schedule or are they ALL gonna be on the schedule for KU ? - -Do we know our opponents yet ?

Then the other ,my view/opinion , I think this portal is gonna be a huge portal in football this season. Already some big time names - - Think Alabama WR - - Tulsa QB suppose to draw major attention , other big time draws in there, - -We have some pretty major players coming for visits. Gonna be something to really keep our eye on this Season , we know Lance has done really well

I guess another question I might have is - who does this help or hurt the most , the portal. - -Does the portal hurt the High Schools recruits more ? - -Are Colleges going to lean on the portal a lot more cause they have the College ball experience ? - -Or does Coach's continue to lean more on High School players and develop - - -OR the portal ?

@jayballer67 we’re in on a couple JuCo DE’s too, one from Hutch. Yeah we offered him one last year and he thought he’d get more offers, and they never came. So we might be his best option if he wants to play D1

Farmer with what we got coming into our RB stable , do you look posssibly -myself I think quite possibly , but do you think Thomas hits the portal again? - just didn't see the field alot. - -Also with the talent of the two we got coming in just think he might get buried. Things I've heard about RED might be pushing for the # 2- -then you got Morrison - - Then Thompson and Thomas battling. I just think Thomas might be on his way out - what's you projection for him ? - -Stay or Go ?

Dec 05, 2022 09:10 PM #140

@jayballer67 I’m pretty sure either Ky or (more likely) Sevion transfers. Both came in thinking they’d compete for RB1 and then Hishaw beasted. Ky had health issues all year so my guess is he sticks it out. A place like Tulsa would be great for Morrison

Dec 21, 2022 09:25 PM #205

I have read some fans who are caught up in the class ranking and still kind of down on recruiting, but it is clear we are recruiting better players. We also do not have as big of a class as everyone most other teams so that is going to drag our ranking down as well.

I will say this was a hell of a cycle for Big 12 in general. Tech with a top 25 class, and Iowa St and K-State both have top 30 or 40 classes depending on where you look. Pretty strong for the conference.

Dec 21, 2022 09:28 PM #206

Kleinman and KSU actually have the #289th ranked class according to rivals. He is a hell of a coach and that is pretty salty.

Somebody posted this on a different website. But it shows the average ranking of KU players in a given year. Depending on where you look and if you include transfers I think we may be ahead of a few other B12 schools, but regardless we are clearly moving in the right direction and closing the gap.

2015 - 81.18

2016 - 82.19

2017 - 82.18

2018 - 83.54

2019 - 83.96

2020 - 83.94

2021 - 84.67

2022 - 84.53

2023 - 85.96

Dec 21, 2022 10:51 PM #209

We rank last in the big 12 recruiting for this yr- -- BUT what you have to keep in mind is - -we ( KU only had 12 commits -while other schools was at 24 -23 ,, 21 so you see these other schools had many more recruits. - -The average ranking of players shows we for sure are headed in the right direction, many players with scores of 85's - -86 - -and a few 87's

What these 86's and 87's mean is that recruiting analysts' are saying that these type of players can come in and right off the start from the get go - -these players are ready to contribute from the start, these players will or should make an impact from the start.

We are close to our limit for full of 85 - - they say we might be able to have 6-7 more in this class , we gonna lose maybe a few more after the bowl game

Talking like what would be great is if we could red shirt this entire Freshman class. - Don't think that's happening , were getting closer but not yet.

Were still young - when you figure we have 10- -11 returning on the offensive side and quite possible of having 20 -- of 22 in the two deep - that's awesome. This year Coach hit the defensive side pretty hard DL and some secondary exactly where we needed to be. - - Looks like he took care of our kicking issues - - FG'S - extra points - and kickoffs -- Coach L is Awesome

Dec 22, 2022 03:03 AM #210

Numbers are TIGHT. This includes Bean and Booker until we hear different. Also includes all the portal commits plus 2023 signees. Really need a CB, LB, and possibly a QB in the portal or in the late period. Other than that, we're solid. We'll see how it changes after the bowl game. !Screenshot 2022-12-22 at 12.07.55 AM.png ↗

@jayballer67 yep, also got the LB. Both have 2 years left. Honestly I think Lovell (the OL) beats out Ford at guard. He’s a monster.

ya after I read your post I went to TOS and saw we got our LB JB Brown - - -from Bowling Green. - your right Spencer Lovell is huge - -6'6 335 pounds-- was a Starter for Cal before he got hurt. - -Big day for our Hawks recruiting wise

Jan 09, 2023 02:57 PM #242

@FarmerJayhawk What about Armaj Reed-Adams this season? Is this the year we finally see him get PT?

If he isn't going to play O, switch that big boy to the other side of the ball and see what happens lol.

Jan 09, 2023 08:22 PM #243

@Kcmatt7 he'll definitely be part of the rotation. Fuchs likes to roll with 8; 5 starters and 3 swing guys. I bet the 5 will be Brown, Lovell, Dirk, Puni, Cabledue, then ARA, Ford, and Baynes as rotation guys. Doiron could get some run since he has reps at center.

I wonder who got axed to make room for McDuffie? I thought we were out of spots. They could not renew a scholarship I suppose?

Davis is a great pickup. At a position of need as well.

I read that it could very well be our very inconsistent place kicker/fg kicker, - -talk he graduates soon so his scholli would be the one. - Huge get only thing wish he could be a couple inches taller, he get in coverage with some of the bigger receivers might be mismatch no matter. - there is a few 6'4 - -6'5 wide receivers pretty big disadvantage- -
b toss it up - -hope not

Doing a little catching up, KU has quietly put together a very nice walk on class, complete with a couple P5 transfers. Lots of guys with utility frames who could be DBs or LBs with some development. Dillon Mong could grow into a nice TE. My fav is Grady Seyfert from Beloit (NCK pride!). He'll be a nice depth piece at DT or interior OL. Played both DT and G in high school, and Beloit has always had a really solid football program, much to my chagrin.

Lots of talk of how our linebacking problems have been taken care of this season - - . Brother I think we can be sneaky good. - For one I think our offense is gonna be just as explosive as last year if NOT MORE I mean we are loaded I think in the receiver spot, not hurting at the RB. - What's the Scoop on Mcduffie ? - -If I'm right he is the transfer from Georgia Tech running back. - -I think he might be able to take a few snaps-- I mean Neal & HiShaw fingers crossed he can stay healthy he is a animal.

Think our O-Line is in solid shape - -just need to add some conditioning - - little weight / strength.

Still think our main concern even though improved is our defense - -I hope we have gotten bigger taller. I t was so evident in the Arkansas game look at Arkansas players then our guys--just got out matched a lot of times - - need some physicality on the rush ends - - aggressive/mean - -I think gonna be exciting - - I'm stoked Farmer

Jan 25, 2023 12:06 AM #255

@jayballer67 McDuffie is going to replace Ky Thomas’s snaps. So not a huge role, but depth in case Hishaw goes down again and to preserve Neal.

I don’t think the defense is fixed, but I do think it’ll improve. Losing Lonnie really hurts. However! I love love love what they’ve done at corner. McGhee and Joyner are dudes. I’m concerned about linebacker. Brown is good, but we didn’t add much in terms of numbers. The one to watch here is Jayson Gilliom. Came as a safety but missed last year due to injury. Heard he’s really really good.

I agree on the OL. I think it’ll be better. Brown replacing Bostick should help the run blocking. Big Earl was great but he’s not a mauler. Spencer Lovell probably beats out Ford for a guard spot. That’s some more extra beef.

Jan 25, 2023 04:54 PM #256

Makes me feel really good to see our latest group of 13 are now on Campus and enrolled for Spring Semester. - Can't lie I'm stoked you can see Coach is really filling in his guys and talent getting better. - -Couple of these guys are 4 Stars -one was rated a 5 star by one publication , getting some size height and weight.

One's I'm super excited that are actually here cause I think these guys are REALLY gonna help are : - Austin Booker ( DE ) from Minnesota- Pattrick Joyner ( DE ) from Utah State - Super, Super stoked about Damarius McGee - -4* ( CB ) from LSU -Super Stoked about Logan Brown - -he is the 5 * by the one publlication a 6'6 & 311 pound ( OL ) from Wisconsin - - -Spencer Lovell ( OL ) 6"6 and 335 pounds from Cal-- And realy stoked for our specialist we needed desperately --( PK ) Seeth Keller from Texas State

Super charged for ALL the guys but these to me are gonna be studs ya I realize we don't have a full 4 years with some of them but still filling in really nice - - -I'm ready

Jan 26, 2023 03:34 AM #257

Having these guys ready to step in and start next season is huge. Even if you don't have them for 4 years, bridging that gap while other guys develop is important to avoid a step back to being a 1 or 2 win team.

Jan 26, 2023 04:25 PM #258

@justanotherfan I posted on another thread, but adding through the transfer portal should be a top priority for LL and Co.

There is probably a "nicer" way of saying it, but "trapping" kids here and getting them after they used their free transfer already is going to be important for "getting old and staying old."

If you can land ~8-10 multi-year guys through the portal every year, that is likely to mean you have at least 30 players on your roster every single season who have 2+ years of D1 college football experience. Throw in a minimum of 40 "home grown" guys (just 10 each class), and you'll never see the scholarships dip below 75 ever again... And you'd be a VERY old team. It feels like the staff understands this.

Jan 26, 2023 04:39 PM #259

@Kcmatt7 this is the way. I’ve heard a mix of 15 HS, 10 portal/JuCo is the strategy moving forward. Once the Covid years cycle out it’ll be more consistent

OK Farmer help me out. Saw this guy was a PWO just recent add I think need a little inside info. - - -- he is a dual threat QB -- Cole Ballard I think said 6'2 - -215 maybe 225 , anyways just wondering if you had heard anything on him at all.

I mea saw his tape - -kid looked pretty solid - -looks like got a pretty strong arm - -pretty dam accurate in all three levels - -short , intermediate , & Deep. - -Runs well , strong runner , decent speed. Have you heard anything? - - If is is like he looks think we might of got a steal. - Like others have said of TOS -KU has had an outstanding recruiting with the PWO'S this year - -what you think ?

Feb 01, 2023 06:50 PM #264

@jayballer67 he's the Indy Colts GM's kid. I don't expect much from any walk on QB except play decent scout team and keep the team GPA up. TJ Crews is the other in that category.

Starting to worry here. He didn't sign today and hasn't really been in communication as to what's going on. That usually means he's listening to others trying to get him to hold off.

KU is 2nd in the nation in returning production for the upcoming year - - KU has 85 % returning on the offensive side and ranked 10th on the defensive front. The closest one to us from the Big 12 is Texas ranked 19th -- Then drops all the way to Texas Tech at 64th - -WV at 66th- -Iowa St at 67th - - then The Purple kittys at 76th.

i don't think I've eve been so pumped for our boys this fall, the start of the New Big 12 - -New Teams - and getting remodel/updates on Booth and Anderson - -these things mean alot ot recruits - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Mar 24, 2023 07:48 PM #272

Hey buddy Farmer got a question. Not really recruiting but football.- -Do you have any insight or whisperings how we are progressing as far as the funds needed for our stadium improvements ? - You think we will hit the goal , as I think the project expected to be around 330 Million total or in the somewhere right ?

Just curious if you had heard any updates. I'm so ready for that old thing to get that major face lift. --I did see where recruits said they had seen the plans and looked really awesome. Do you know do they have the renderings/pics? - of projected design yet? - I'm so jacked about our football - -ready for some new blood in the league - - Screw Texas/Oklahoma - -get the hell out - gonna be a couple of has beens in the SEC.

Just curious hope we can come up with al money needed to fund- -or Lance probably will walk just like his contract states if up dates don't get done

Mar 24, 2023 07:59 PM #273

It'll get done. Just the public and endowment funds are $200m. I know Goff and Girod are circulating renderings to big donors, and they're getting tweaked based on donor input. I'm guessing that process will be done sometime in the fall and the pictures will get to us plebes. Still hearing it'll be a part of a larger capital campaign. The AFH project is a go, and I bet Hoglund will be in the mix as well.

That's huge love this Staff. like I posted before the quality of guys we ar now getting or that we are in the mix for is like night and day.

Having said that , we are getting people's attention lol , out other school down the pike I think getting a little nervous . All up in arms about how we are getting our funding for reno at Memorial, saying it's not right. - -People saying if we indeed end up with the renovations then it is showing commitment to Football and that scares the hell out of them the way tt sounds.

The post of the month I saw from them- -a poster says "Why are you worried about their stadium improvements ? I'm worried about what their Coach is doing over there. They aren't a pushover anymore. Plus if he stays committed They just got the # 9 Dual threat QB in the Country for 24 and some other nice players.

LOL, ATTENTION BIG 12 - -we coming , like he says you try and kick us now - -we kicking back. Big 12 I putting you on alert , Coach and the Hawks are NOW at Defcon 5 we coming.
ESPN came out and listed top QB's in the Nation , they polled 12 different anaylsts (Coach's ) gave them a Scoring system -and our bor Jaylon - -# 10. - -oh ya I'm ready and this addition just another sign - -that the Door is now OPEN - look out

We have Jalen , Jason , Ben , - -why?- -plus we got our stud coming in 24 - I just don't get that move , he not going to see the field here. I mean not sure the story in Neb but with what w got here & coming - - WHY ?

May 15, 2023 09:43 PM #281

@jayballer67 don’t think you can have too many options at QB after #6 leaves.

Hard to say who’s skills will really translate.

May 15, 2023 10:03 PM #282

@jayballer67 why not? He's a walk on and gets to pay in-state tuition now. He'll compete for reps with Easters and play some scout team. He's got some athletic talent, just a BIG project.

May 15, 2023 11:18 PM #283

A big get with Brooks today. was ranked as the 77th best player coming out of high school in 21, viewed s the 6th best edge rusher, should be able to help get pressure on opposing QB's , plenty of depth on both Strong side and Weak Side. School that he was recruited by coming out of High School ; - Alabama , Georgia , Oklahoma , Oregon , Texas A & M , USC - originally committed to Tennessee with change of staff, got to love this addition

May 19, 2023 06:24 PM #284

Saw where we got a CB pick on 247 for a safety Damani Maxson 3 * ---but 4 * on the 247 composite - -got me fired up. - List of Schools he had at some point anyways were : Arizona St , Houston , Oklahoma , Oklahoma State , & KU
