Miami is a solid team and Larranaga a really good coach - gets the most out of lesser talented teams. But that's the thing - KU is bigger and more talented. We need to play to win, not play to not lose.

HCBS has disconcerting tendency at this stage to not let his teams play to their talent. He loves being able to win a lot of games when we don't play particularly well against good teams and against arguably better or more talented teams. But in the vast majority of games we play, we are the better, more talented team.

Let's not play down to the opponent - let's take advantage of our strengths and fast and loose...play to win...

Guys just a little FYI , a couple of pretty cool little short video clips from the WIBW web site while covering KU in the tourney one is - -the video talks ell Oachi talks about how this years team is playing for the 2020 team it has Devon Dotson in it and Oach talking about this year teams tourney run is for them

The first few minutes will be key to see if Dave can be a positive factor - or will be a liability - against their line-up. I think we all expect HCBS to feed the post early. If Dave can score - or even better - draw a couple of fouls on Waardenburg - we can continue to play big. But if he misses bunnies, turns it over, or Waardenburg hits a couple of 3s, then we should go small and stay small. Frankly, I like Juan, Remy, Och, CB and Jalen on the floor most of the time. Our guards are equal to or better than theirs, our two wings are better than theirs, and Jalen is better than their big. Guard the perimeter hard and make them try to beat us making 2 pt shots.....

We really need to step up the defensive pressure - higher and early in their possession. They are getting way too comfortable..

Miami is matching our quickness. Neutralizing that advantage so far. Best bet in this game is to keep the pace high to wear them down and try to get them into foul trouble.

I'm so tempted to buy a Final Four ticket, but the cheapest prices on Stubhub are more than double what I payed in 2018. Cheapest I saw during the game were $560 including fees for just Saturday and I'm assuming the reason tickets are so high right now is because of the very strong possibility of a Duke/Carolina game happening on Saturday. I'm still tempted because that's a bucket list game for me to see in person one day.

Ticket prices on Stubhub have spiked even higher now, over $700 with fees for the cheapest tickets.

I was about to correct this then I saw the 2nd half caveat. I found some real clunker first half performances from them. I felt like they really got out of their sets in the 2nd half and just started playing hero ball. I'm sure their coach was frustrated. Still a very good offensive team and what KU did was impressive.
