I don’t know who is the better matchup. But I think the idea is nobody wants to play K in a game of destiny.

Also I want nothing to do with a guy like Banchero who can win it by himself. But that’s just me personally. Duke had been the better team all season. UNC has just found it here down the stretch and seem due for a heartbreak.

Is this the Roy Williams Farewell Tour? The two guys that replaced Roy match up in the championship game. I'm guessing he will wear a Jayhawk underneath his Powder blue...

I wonder if there is a betting line on the number of times Roy will be shown on TV during the Championship game. Kind of like the old betting line in the NFL for "Hi Mom."

Rebounding is going to be the biggest key for KU in this game. Jalen Wilson has been great on the glass this tournament, Dave needs to be great as well because Bacot is in the Tshiebwe neighborhood of great rebounding this season averaging 13 per game.

UNC is also a elite defensive rebounding team and loves to get out an run so Self may have to make a decision about how involved he wants his guards to be on the offensive glass or does he want them to get back on defense and to try and slow UNC down.

We know both teams want to play fast so this and the O/U at 153 reflects that and I still think that's too low for this game. The lightswitch coming on for Caleb Love has been the difference for UNC this tournament. Will Self put Ochai or Braun on Love is the biggest defensive question for Self. Love is the style of guard that has burned KU several times this season and has been very good at getting to basket most of this tournament outside of the Baylor game.

No, because that's not who Harris will be guarding. Harris is going to be guarding RJ Davis. Either Agbaji or Braun will be guarding Love.

How many cc's did they use to get Bacot back on the court and able to run and jump so fast?

@mayjay I think that was one of those ankle turns that was more scary than painful. The real question is what happens to it today.

As far as guarding their guards I think we will likely just switch a lot like normal until we see who has the hot hand and then throw Juan on him to try and clamp him down. Either or both love and Davis can be dangerous and I would NOT want to triangle and two Carolina with manek having free reign to float around and catch and shoot. It will take a team effort on d. Thankfully that’s what we’ve been getting from the guys this tournament.
