We good.
I might not be able to watch. A friend was hospitalized yesterday and I'd never forgive myself if I wasn't there near the end (quite likely). I was hoping to not wake up to an email/voicemail that he had passed over night.

A little nervous.
If Oline can protect #15 I like our chances.
I think Eagles might have fallen victim to reading all the accolades about how good they are. I think the Chiefs did this 2 years ago vs TB and weren't prepared.
There are even articles in Philly (and nowhere else) that give the coaching edge to Philly because he is a fresh thinker whose decisions this year are smarter than everyone else, including Reid. God, I love sports myopia!
Andy is going to have some new, inventive plays cooked up for his old team. I still can't get that ring-around-the-rosie huddle play out of my mind. Was that a hoot or what? It happened so fast and unexpectedly, no one had time to figure out who acted as QB, etc. I can't wait for Andy's creative mind to impress me today and hopefully flabbergast the Eagles for an easy KC score. Go Chiefs!
Most analysts are picking Eagles to win.
I hope Chiefs come ready and bring home Lombardi trophy.
The Eagles played the 3rd weakest schedule in the NFC based on 2021 records. Some analysts say Hurts's statistics are overstated because he played against so many weak defenses. KC good.
Man I tell you , you can bet on just about anything anymore. - Now I'm not a big betting guy cause I just don't have that extra money but have been listening to some and if I could I would take it :
Over /Under - -Marlon Sanders going for more then 60 yards rushing - -( I would take over ) - - Patrick Maholmes over/ under passing attempts 38 - -(- I would probably go over - -BUT maybe, just maybe not kind of tough one ) -& Over/Under- -total points51 Scored ( I'd probably go over ) -Although my prediction for the game is -- CHIEFS 30-- 21. - Over/Under - -Kelse 6 catchs for the game - -( for sure over ) - mercy you can bet on anything lol

Women power🛬🛬🛬🛬
Nobody picked us! I like being an underdog! Kick some butt!
I just finished my arrowhead shaped burger. Pretty cool! Ready to goooooo !
Red kingdom!
Well crap
Gonna have to hope for a shootout defense looks like hot butter again
Nice stop! Good job 55!
Kelce talked about being a leader this time!🤩🥰
Big momentum swing there, come on Butker
Alright!
Thank heavens! Butt kicker!
Needed that break! Way to go D!
KC defense just hasn't shown up yet.
'Cept for the TO
🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
This all done but the crying now with Mahomes hurt
I'm not quitting!
@Crimsonorblue22 KC was behind to the 49ers until 7 minutes left in the game.
If Mahomes was healthy and they hold them to 3 I wouldn’t be worried at all.
You do you
I hope I’m wrong but when your best player limping around and you’re down 10 logic would say your odds ain’t good.
It's over. Going to play video games, maybe check the score after it's over.
Stud!
Let's go D!
Mahomes wasn’t limping and they got The 7 let’s see if the defense made some adjustments.
BS
U gave up
He caught that imo secured and turned forward
No control
If that first one wasn’t a catch this one shouldn’t be
I have zero idea wtf a catch is in the nfl anymore
Anyone else miss when the Super Bowl started at 3 not 6. Sign chiefs fan that get up 4:15 for work.
Hell yes🤩🥰🥳❤️💛🙏🌾📞calling Holmes at isu!😂🎈🏈🏈😤
Now hold'em
Wow talk about a huge play by Toney wow. Gotta get stops tho
Wow! Don't ever give up!🥰❤️💛🏈🙅♀️🤩
That last defensive stop, we saw the KC defense was amped up. First time I saw some urgency by the defense. Now they have to do it again.
Twice
@Crimsonorblue22 I’m shocked mainly because mahomes ankle looks good which in my defense is why I was worried glad to be wrong but still a lot of time
His ankle isn't good! He's just toughing it out. Toughing!
@Crimsonorblue22 they gave him the Aaron Rodgers shot at half time haha
This is a helluva game folks
Oh man!
Hot damn
The Legend of Patrick Mahomes grows. Get healthy future GOAT!
🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆❤️💛🥰🥳🌾🙏🙏🙏
Put some respect on their name
Not 1 talking head picked them
Congratulations!
Pretty fortunate with that penalty.

That's all they gonna be talkin about, how they got robed. - Yet a Penalty is a Penalty, is a Penalty --he grabbed his jersey--he wrapped his arm around his waist even if only for a second
So many rooks stepped up!
I think that penalty was a little weak but I also think that’s the only call KC got. They missed an obvious PI in the first quarter that stalled the chiefs second drive, got away with a fumble touchdown that should’ve counted and had a very questionable catch stand. I think the eagles got 3 of 4 questionable calls tonight.
The dude that held said he did it twice, thought they wouldn't call it. So admitted it.
Chiefs! Victory!
Great (tight) game.

There were some not very good calls in this game. a few that went against the Chiefs for sure. I'm not a guy who harps on the refs normally, but i didn't care for a few that were even reviewed.
So, the last call helped for sure, but it was not the only iffy call of the night.
The guy said he grabbed his jersey
Henne retired after the game. Shane, you're up!
Henne was a great back up! What a way to go out!
So did Hurts outplay double MVP Mahomes? Hurts had 304 yds passing, 1 TD and 70 yds rushing, 3 TDs. Impressive.

I thought the one catch was correct. I'm less sure on the catch/fumble.
RE: Fumble/Incomplete Pass. When did the NFL decide or make a rule that the receiver had to take 3 steps after the catch to be a completion? That's certainly not the rule when the ball isn't fumbled; we've seen hundreds of calls on whether it was a catch or not and none of them include 3 steps. I'm just going by what the FOX expert said during the broadcast that the "football move rule" according to him required 3 steps after the catch to qualify as a catch. I've never heard that before.
Thank Almighty for Chiefs getting Reid and Mahomes.
Special kudos to Veatch.
He made several bold moves such as trading Hill and rolling with rookie corners this year.
I do not recall any Chiefs season with so many 3-point victories as this year.
National media is referring to penalty call as being controversial and the reason why Chiefs won.
Eagles player himself admitted that it was a penalty.
The media has a bias against Chiefs.
@stoptheflop I think the guy that comes away with the " W " is the one who outplayed the other.
@stoptheflop I think it isn't 2 steps...it is 2 feet down (they can be down when the ball is caught, but steps are more likely) and a football move (unless the player is falling to the ground and then the requirement is to retain possession). That can be a step which is often called a 3rd step but should be called a 3rd foot down (which is awkwsrd--sounds like canine ball). The move could also be a twist to avert a hit, or immediately lateralling the ball, I think. Here, he was hit immediately on control. For once our tacklers got there quickly.. too quickly.

@BShark Sorry about your friend. That's one of life's tougher things - I know all about losing dear friends. Prayers.
Still okay last I heard. He has had a very full life, much older than me. Truly a special friendship, hard to explain.
@nuleafjhawk In your example, if the guy dropped immediately and lost the ball, that would be incomplete. Dropping immediately to the ground while holding on = completed catch and a tackle.
@stoptheflop Hurts played great and I was impressed with what he did last night but his biggest mistake was a fumbled snap that gave KC a touchdown. Chiefs also dropped 2 picks. He can flat out run for sure.
@stoptheflop that’s my problem with the current rules, Dez Bryant takes 3 steps not a catch but a guy falling outta bounds doesn’t have to maintain possession. Watching the replay his foot looks up while the ball is still moving. I think it was just too close to overturn. The fumble the guy looks back at hurts, catches it, gets both feet down and turns forward to run. Turning forward to me is a football move but idk. At that point you can say gotta take 4 steps I guess for it to be a catch idk.
Anyone else see LeBron complaining about the holding call? When literally he threw a complete tantrum last week after a no call sent his game in to OT SMH. This is why people dislike him greatly, the cut under his nose is always at full bore, usually In topics he’s uneducated in.
@kjayhawks In a way it is like taking a charge: the ball can move but still he in control just like the defender is not required to be absolutely set. Think of the holder on a FG when he spins the ball. He has control even if it is moving.
@nuleafjhawk I wonder if players will hesitate before they hit a receiver because they want a fumble recovery rather than a mere pass breakup.

Yeah it's annoying when players go for the strip and end up giving up a lot more yards. Happens pretty frequently too.
Mic'd up went up today and it's GREAT. Soooo many awesome moments.
Kelce on Fallon coming up right now! Hosting SNL, March 4

Ugg can’t stand Jimmy. New Heights podcast is a great way to consume Kelce. Jason and Travis are awesome together. SNL should be fun too!
Timing is not the best for me - got handed Nathaniel Raitcliff tickets (wish he was with the Night Sweats, but he has an orchestra backing him up) for that evening and have afternoon plans to attend Reef Stock in Denver as well (marine aquarium show). Not to mention KU plays Texas at 3!!! Might have to record SNL.
Kelce was awesome. Seems jimmy spent time golfing with Kelce and mahomes in Vegas last summer.
Chiefs seemed to have some fun at the parade, a lot of consumption.
