We get great efforts from opposing teams who are hyper from the opening tip in every freaking game and we have to match that or risk playing from behind as we well know. This team goes as Dejuan goes. He is by far the MVP of KU and possibly the most valuable player to any team in the country. I don't know if I've ever seen a Self team so dependent on one player to be successful, but that's the case this year with Harris.

@Texas-Hawk-10 At this point you can’t really argue any different. Undefeated this season when he scores more than 3 points. 20-0 the last 2 years when he scores in double figures. I think you saw how much the floor opened up for everyone else once he started scoring, first half they help off of him and dared him to do something. Second half he said alright then lol.

The ESPN box score shows KU with only 4 TOs for an entire game against a Top 10 opponent. WOW!

Holy smokes! Wow, what a tale of two halves.

It wasn't looking good for our lackluster team in the first half. I was sweating that before the game, hoping the Dejuan and Kevin and their iffy ankles could muster the effort needed to stay with the Baylor guards.

Everybody sure as hell fired up the intensity level in the 2nd half. Amazing. Why couldn't we start like that????!!!

You see where Baylor was starting their offensive sets in the 2nd!!! Nearly half court! awesome effort.

I'm just responding to a few comments here since I didn't participate in the live chat. Not sure what plays that comment was directed about but I don't recall any point today where we got victimized by refs. Higgins even reffed and I didn't mutter his name under my breath once!!

Last year, the world changed for KU bball. Anything is possible. Even against good teams. Never turn off the TV at the half on KU. Never. Unless you believe you're the curse.

That was right there with Miami and UNC as comebacks go. Yes, we were only down 6 to Miami, but it was such a hurricane 2nd half, it was astonishing. Just like yesterday. And the beauty of yesterday's win was the whole country was watching.

My wife made the comment that someone needs to look at the goal on the right. The one KU started and Baylor finished with. I suppose she might have a point if you ignore how flat KU started and how turned up they were in the second half. 🤣
