Is anyone following World Cup.

I watched part of US vs New Zealand game which was one sided.

France got knocked out by Latvia.

Pretty weak US roster imo. Will be interesting to see how they fair against Greece.

This is a B level tournament for American basketball. We usually only send a B/C team to this tournament. The Olympics are when the U.S. sends its A team.

So far so good for USA, big wins against Greece and Jordan.

The US is still light years ahead of most countries in basketball. Our college kids can beat most pro teams overseas. 16 gold metals in 19 games with the one in 72 they were cheated out of being one of the 3 they didn’t win in terms of the Olympics.

Team USA did not win any medal, lost to Canada for 3rd place.

@AsadZ A sign of who was on the roster. At the same time, showing just how much basketball has grown all over the world.

I really wish there was more incentive for our best players to play in these international events.
