As the old saying goes “the show must go on”. This site turns into a ghost town pretty quick but with a cold rainy day in central Kansas, I’ve got the early game on. Marquette vs Colorado, Marquette appears to be playing with its food.

Mar 24, 2024 05:18 PM #2

@kjayhawks - How far do you think Marquette can go? I’m not a fan of the coach TBH.

Mar 24, 2024 05:28 PM #3

@Gorilla72 they have the talent to go to the final four IMO but yes rooting for the fighting Boyles

Mar 24, 2024 05:29 PM #4

This game is extremely physical only afoul a piece with 10 to go in the second

Mar 24, 2024 05:30 PM #5

Colorado got it tied. - - Let's see Tad is Colorado Coach , wasn't there a Kevin Boyle too?

Mar 24, 2024 05:32 PM #6

@jayballer67 not sure to be honest Tadd was a Colorado kid that came east to play for Kansas. I think he is the perfect fit for them. Teams are hard nosed and play above their talent level.

Mar 24, 2024 05:35 PM #7

Man Kolek is one of the best PGs I’ve ever seen at this level. I’ve only watched him play a handful of games but everytime I do I’m in awe.

Ya I remember Tad playing. Seems like we have had our share of Brothers play for us.- -There was Aubrey & Dave Nash right ? - - -Kelly & Danny Knight

Mar 24, 2024 05:37 PM #9

Colorado got dudes

Mar 24, 2024 05:39 PM #10

Colorado giving them a game. - - -tough kids

Mar 24, 2024 05:43 PM #11

Man that3 was half way down for Colorado.

Mar 24, 2024 05:44 PM #12

Bill self would be cutting down the nets with the talent Marquette has this season. If only Shaka was Smart like his name lol

Mar 24, 2024 05:45 PM #13

MAN ! ! ! - -You couldn't ask for a better look. - - -WIDE , WIDE , OPEN

Mar 24, 2024 05:50 PM #14

How do you let a guy drive the entire baseline and do a loop de loop and throw up some junk and it goes in without a contest ? lol

Mar 24, 2024 05:51 PM #15

Like I said Kolek is an absolute stud, he’s not gonna let Marquette lose. 21 points, 11 assists and 5 rebounds that’s insane. Cousy award winner or it’s rigged at this point.

Mar 24, 2024 08:08 PM #16

KSUCK women go down in he octagon of stupid to Colorado. Hahaha a team they said had national title aspirations just a month ago

Mar 24, 2024 09:13 PM #17

JMUs coach told his team players “you arent playing Dukes great players of the past. You are playing this bunch of meaty ogres”

Mar 24, 2024 09:14 PM #18

@kjayhawks better than Shead?

Mar 24, 2024 09:19 PM #19

@Crimsonorblue22 I think so, Shead maybe better defensively

Mar 24, 2024 09:35 PM #20

Some duds here so far

Mar 24, 2024 09:41 PM #21

Mar 24, 2024 09:44 PM #22

Mar 24, 2024 09:44 PM #23

Morning game was good, rest garbage and all better seeds are winning

Mar 24, 2024 09:54 PM #24

All you folks are just better people than me. I'm pouting and sulking and won't watch any more basketball until next year. Unless it's real basketball - women's. 👧 🏀

Mar 24, 2024 10:01 PM #25

@FarmerJayhawk nice! Im ready for the epic second half comeback!

Mar 24, 2024 10:13 PM #26

Just watched the Womens Frozen Four. Badgers lose to Ohio St. Miracle on Ice player Mark Johnson would have won his 8th championship if they'd won. Both teams have 2 championships in lat 4 years. As you can imagine the two teams are intense rivals.

Side note, a daughters classmate from HS transferred to KU from LSU in baseball (why?) and hit for the cycle for the Jayhawks Friday night! Cool stuff.

Mar 24, 2024 10:23 PM #27

I'd be thrilled to see Northwestern knock off Uconn. Their fans got real mouthy after we lost yesterday.

Probably transferred because if I remember right current head Coach for the KU men, I'm assuming your talking about is now the head Coach at KU.- He has brought in a bunch of new players --I think Ku had the # 1 ranked class from Juco and in the middle teens I think in high School recruiting, showing improvement this year--think he is going to turn them around , maybe not this year but think he is the right Coach. - Again I''m assuming you was talking about the men's baseball and not Womens Softball. If you were then ooops - - -sorry

Mar 24, 2024 10:58 PM #29

Oh well. This is gross.

F’n Duke.

Mar 24, 2024 11:00 PM #30

Go GCU

Mar 24, 2024 11:06 PM #31

Baylor down 10 at the half. Big 12 isn’t living up to its reputation. Iowa State and Houston have to carry the banner.

Mar 24, 2024 11:35 PM #32

Really surprised by Clemson here, their coach called out the big 12

Mar 24, 2024 11:39 PM #33

Go Tigers

Mar 25, 2024 12:07 AM #34

Baylor gave it away at the line 16/26 with 3 front end misses

Mar 25, 2024 12:42 AM #35

Outside of 2021 Scott Drew sucks in March

Mar 25, 2024 12:49 AM #36

UConn just looks like are in a league of their again this season. They may not be tested til the final four if at all.

Mar 25, 2024 01:04 AM #37

GCU Bama rules

Mar 25, 2024 01:11 AM #38

@FarmerJayhawk maybe the strangest officiated game in history

Mar 25, 2024 01:16 AM #39

@kjayhawks not enough yet way too many fouls

Mar 25, 2024 01:46 AM #40

@FarmerJayhawk GCU had their chances

Mar 25, 2024 01:50 AM #41

Rough day for the Drew brothers, Bryce and Scott both lost today.

Mar 25, 2024 01:51 AM #42

Can't say Grant didn't do his part

Mar 25, 2024 01:52 AM #43

@jayballer67 I'm confused, LSU won the National Championship in baseball last season. They replaced the coach?

It was one of the assistants I think , not the head Coach- -Now I could be wrong but I swear , pretty sure it was an assistant from LSU cause when I saw that at the time I thought whoaaa, we might be onto something

Mar 25, 2024 02:30 AM #45

Well dang. Houston’s going to advance

Mar 25, 2024 03:04 AM #46

@FarmerJayhawk not so fast!

Mar 25, 2024 03:13 AM #47

HOLY AGGIES

Mar 25, 2024 03:13 AM #48

@FarmerJayhawk not so fast...... wow🤩

Mar 25, 2024 03:19 AM #49

Terrible call

Mar 25, 2024 03:31 AM #50

The 2 Texas teams have been brutal toward each other.

Mar 25, 2024 03:33 AM #51

73 free throws in this trash game so far

Ended with 50/75 from free throws. Kudos to Houston for surviving that garbage

Mar 25, 2024 03:44 AM #52

Houston's just a bunch of dawgs

Mar 25, 2024 04:26 AM #53

Houston plays a bully game, like WVU used to do. I’m surprised they didn’t get away with it tonight.

Mar 25, 2024 11:43 AM #54

Bracketwise I'm glad Houston won.

It was a bad day in the Drew family.

ACC is outplaying our league in the dance.

A met a man in church yesterday. He's our pastors father and he was a longtime assistant coach to Lenny Wilkins. He earned the Tex Winter Asst. coach award which is kind of like a HOF award for assistants. Went from D3 to the NBA! He had Danny Manning on a few of his seasons. He said Danny would bring donuts to practice every day. Also said Danny didn't like the socks the teams provided and always wore his own. He's 91 and still remarkably healthy and tells great stories.

i don't care who you are ( Not talking about you specifically Gorilla72 ) -but Houston absolutely got screwed on many calls. It was almost like the officials felt they HAD to make a call down the floor. I'm glad they won , representing our Conference, if they need to play bully ball then so be it. Just goes to show People who say basketball is a non contact sport have NO IDEA what they are talking about

I actually think it would be quite interesting to see how U Conn would match up with the # 1 & # 2 ranks defensive teams in the Nation , I think they could give U Conn some trouble

Shead decided to carrt Houston after the officials fouled everyone else out and that's exactly what he was doing until they had to foul Shead out too, Housston having to depend on a fifth yr walkon--Glad Houston still alive
