I saw video of Mahomes walking into the stadium and warming up. He looks fine. Perfect day for a big Chiefs WIN

Dec 21, 2024 05:58 PM #2

2 rushes for 27 yards and a touchdown, he must feel pretty good lol

Dec 21, 2024 06:25 PM #3

Stroud converting deep 3rd downs

Dec 21, 2024 06:27 PM #4

@AsadZ unimpressed with the lack of pressure against one of the worst lines in football. The other one is on the Kansas City sideline giving up pressure

Dec 21, 2024 06:29 PM #5

Wow a missed obvious hold on George and clear push off. These refs that supposedly favor KC are at it again

Dec 21, 2024 06:30 PM #6

Got away with the push off in the end zone

Dec 21, 2024 06:31 PM #7

D needs to stop 3rd down conversions

Dec 21, 2024 06:41 PM #8

Just in - next week the Chiefs will no longer be called the KC Chiefs. They are changing their name to the BP Chiefs.

Boring and Predictable. Make it BPI.

BORING. PREDICTABLE. INEFFECTIVE.

Dec 21, 2024 07:05 PM #9

Worthy has to work on toe taps, that was a perfectly thrown ball

Dec 21, 2024 07:13 PM #10

Pretty decent half like that we finally are getting pressure on Stroud. Nice to see Hollywood on the field, would love to see us get the run game going a little bit here in the second half

Dec 21, 2024 07:20 PM #11

@nuleafjhawk just win baby

Dec 21, 2024 07:37 PM #12

That was an incredible TD

Tough injury for Houston

Dec 21, 2024 07:47 PM #13

That was tough on 4th down

Dec 21, 2024 07:47 PM #14

I just don’t see the chiefs making the Super Bowl again with this offensive line. They just get zero push

Dec 21, 2024 07:59 PM #15

That was a good drive

Worthy show

Dec 21, 2024 08:00 PM #16

@AsadZ that looked like a text book chiefs drive it starts with good play calls.

Dec 21, 2024 08:01 PM #17

Looking for some defense here, this line has gave up more sacks than any other in football. Zero sacks to this point, unacceptable

Dec 21, 2024 08:08 PM #18

D left Schultz wide open on that 3rd down

Dec 21, 2024 08:37 PM #19

That was a good stance by D

Dec 21, 2024 08:39 PM #20

@AsadZ now can we run the football successfully, right now Mahomes leads in rushing with a whopping 35 yards on 3 carries

Dec 21, 2024 08:47 PM #21

Nice team win

Sorry to see Dell get injured

Dec 21, 2024 08:48 PM #22

A solid win against a playoff team. Gotta do the same thing in 4 days and then we can rest for most of 3 weeks. That game in Pittsburgh is easily the biggest game of the year now.

Dec 21, 2024 08:48 PM #23

Get rest for next 2-3 days and on to Pittsburgh

Dec 21, 2024 08:49 PM #24

I honestly think the offense is starting to turn a corner, if they can get consistent up front they have shown shades of it the last two weeks against pretty solid defenses.

Dec 21, 2024 08:54 PM #25

I’m hoping I win something with ESPN Wichita my score prediction was 27-20. Missed extra point from perfect

Dec 21, 2024 09:26 PM #26

@kjayhawks getting Hollywood back is a nice boost

Worthy is getting better each week

Dec 21, 2024 11:25 PM #27

Best performance from them in awhile

Dec 21, 2024 11:51 PM #28

D Hop is really good, Hollywood and Worthy are worthy! 🤣 Kelce helps! Pat 🏃🏾‍♂️🏃🏾‍♂️🏃🏾‍♂️

Dec 22, 2024 02:21 AM #29

Happy for a win! Heading into the game i thought Houston would offer a good challenge. Their pass rush looked like trouble. One game closer to clinching. nice. So grateful to see another weapon on the field for Mahomes. Attaboy, Hollywood!

Boy the Chiefs sure put Worthy to work today. I wish he were a tiny bit stronger to get through through a defender on those one-on-one outside screen plays. That would sure open up the offense if he could power through a lone tackler. Doesn't seem like it takes much to trip him up.

Go Chiefs!

Dec 22, 2024 05:30 AM #30

@rockchalkjayhawk he's tiny! But speedy, like Mighty Mouse.

Watch on ESPN nationally and ABC in KC. Streaming on UZZU, Fubo.TV and ESPN+

If you haven’t checked out UZZU it’s a good option for the normally non-streamers. It carries almost ever single game from what I’ve seen - no first hand usage, but my brother in law loves it. $125/year - not just sports either its got to be one of the cheapest tv options.

Jan 18, 2025 07:25 PM #35

Uzzu and Superbox are both a lot cheaper for watching copyrighted movies and sports telecasts as long as you are happy knowing you are doing it illegally!

Jan 18, 2025 09:17 PM #36

Did you see Boyd showing off his coach on the sideline, boy

Jan 18, 2025 09:20 PM #37

Our lack of running game worries me

Jan 18, 2025 09:24 PM #38

Come on Chiefs. Girls like a stiff D!

Jan 18, 2025 09:32 PM #39

Taylor flag on 3rd and 3. Surprise!!!

Jan 18, 2025 09:36 PM #40

Andy….don’t get cute around the goal line! lol can’t help himself.

Jan 18, 2025 09:38 PM #41

Yes times a 1000% the gadget plays haven’t worked in 2 years for the most part. We will need touchdowns at some point

Jan 18, 2025 09:45 PM #43

@dylans said in Former Texans vs Current Texans:

Extremely.

Jan 18, 2025 09:46 PM #44

Chris Jones is probably my favorite chief on this team. Why wouldn’t double on third down lol I’ll take it all day.

Jan 18, 2025 09:51 PM #45

I hate these announcers!

Jan 18, 2025 09:58 PM #46

Mahomes under tremendous pressure

Texans pass rush creating havoc

Jan 18, 2025 10:02 PM #47

Bolton is the slowest LB in the NFL

Jan 18, 2025 10:06 PM #48

Let’s go now

Long TD for Chiefs

Jan 18, 2025 10:10 PM #49

There we go offense

Jan 18, 2025 10:11 PM #50

Good calls, thought worthy could stretch that

Jan 18, 2025 10:11 PM #51

Let’s go

Jan 18, 2025 10:12 PM #52

D!

Jan 18, 2025 10:19 PM #53

@kjayhawks he's methodical, bro.

Jan 18, 2025 10:21 PM #54

@nuleafjhawk what do you expect from a Mizzou guy smh

Jan 18, 2025 10:27 PM #55

These commentators are very pro Texans

Whole world against Chiefs

@AsadZ said in Former Texans vs Current Texans:

Been that way for 2 years, I agree that the roughing call was weak but by rule it was correct he did hit him helmet to helmet.

Jan 18, 2025 10:40 PM #57

The Chiefs are kind of getting handled but are up by 7. Story of the season!

Jan 18, 2025 10:52 PM #58

Defense gets them in 2nd and low but can’t get off the field

Jan 18, 2025 10:57 PM #59

Okay

Still up by 1

Need a long TD drive

Jan 18, 2025 10:57 PM #60

This is why I get worried when we can’t run the ball. They can milk the clock so much

Jan 18, 2025 10:58 PM #61

It's almost like the Chiefs are out of sync. Rusty. Too much time off. Hmmm🤔. Who da thunk?

Jan 18, 2025 11:01 PM #62

@nuleafjhawk said in Former Texans vs Current Texans:

Ummm not really they literally only won a few games by more than one score. They were up 13-3 idk if I’d call them rusty. But hey I’m logical

Jan 18, 2025 11:06 PM #63

@kjayhawks yeah. Logical is a good word for it.

Jan 18, 2025 11:10 PM #64

@nuleafjhawk well you tell me I guess if they got down by 10 id say you was right. Get out to a 10 point, Jesus team must be rusty smh. Drugs are bad man

Jan 18, 2025 11:11 PM #65

@kjayhawks you should quit taking them then. Call the announcers names - they've said the same thing several times

Jan 18, 2025 11:14 PM #66

@nuleafjhawk said in Former Texans vs Current Texans:

@kjayhawks you should quit taking them then. Call the announcers names - they've said the same thing several times

Haven’t heard them say anything about it once on the first drive that they didn’t go anywhere. Haha

Jan 18, 2025 11:14 PM #67

Why don't these announcers just do cheers?

Jan 18, 2025 11:14 PM #68

Kelce lookin good!

Jan 18, 2025 11:16 PM #69

Flag that shit

Jan 18, 2025 11:16 PM #70

Guess not

Jan 18, 2025 11:16 PM #71

Kelce!

Jan 18, 2025 11:17 PM #72

Boy Kelce is rusty as hell today, playing his best game of the year

Jan 18, 2025 11:18 PM #73

Kelceee

What a throw going down by 15

Jan 18, 2025 11:19 PM #74

lol Mahomes is falling on his face and throws a TD to Kelce who is just standing there wide open in the end zone. It must be so deflating to root against Mahomes.

Jan 18, 2025 11:21 PM #75

@dylans said in Former Texans vs Current Texans:

Right the game will be all about the officiating. Sucks because that was a great play and the refs don’t miss extra points/FGs

Jan 18, 2025 11:22 PM #76

Absolutely incredible td throw for sure.

Jan 18, 2025 11:23 PM #77

He's going down! Troy is just hating this! Joe is crying in the corner, to bad they're not outside. Jason Kelce should go beat them up. To much time left gotta play D!

Jan 18, 2025 11:30 PM #78

I guess Troy is everything Texas. - maybe someone should remind him of the Chiefs roots going forward. Or maybe that’s what turns his crank. 🤷‍♂️

Jan 18, 2025 11:31 PM #79

Once again I wish we could run the ball

Jan 18, 2025 11:32 PM #80

Terrible calls

Jan 18, 2025 11:33 PM #81

KC needs to fix the O tackle position.

Jan 18, 2025 11:34 PM #82

@dylans they have needed to for the last 3 years

Jan 18, 2025 11:40 PM #83

@kjayhawks Probably need a new guard too. Smiths contract is up.

Jan 18, 2025 11:47 PM #91

Good runs by Hunt on this Drive

Jan 18, 2025 11:47 PM #92

@kjayhawks yeah. It keeps it interesting. No ill will. I saw Justin got knocked silly and my stupid remote died - had to change batteries. But sounds like he's going to be ok?

Jan 18, 2025 11:54 PM #93

He looks guilty

Jan 19, 2025 12:01 AM #96

@wissox Leo Chenal with his 3rd! blocked field goal for the chiefs. - 2 in the playoffs.

Jan 19, 2025 12:01 AM #97

I hope we're this rusty the next game.

Jan 19, 2025 12:02 AM #98

Look at his frozen ears

Jan 19, 2025 12:05 AM #99

It’s nasty out and has been all day, great win

Jan 19, 2025 12:13 AM #100

I can't believe they don't cover them on the bench. I read an article this past week about all the frost bite and amputations of fingers and toes from the post season Miami game.

Jan 19, 2025 12:15 AM #101

Great team win

Houston played very well

Jan 19, 2025 12:16 AM #102

I like stroud

Jan 19, 2025 12:16 AM #103

@Crimsonorblue22 The bench itself is heated. There are heaters on the sidelines as well. The field itself is heated. The players are fine, it’s the fans in the icy stands that have it off rough imo.

@Crimsonorblue22 said in Former Texans vs Current Texans:

Stroud is very good. He needs to work on his limp though. 😝 looked like he was skipping.

Jan 19, 2025 12:17 AM #105

I didn't see them putting their 👂👂on the bench

Jan 19, 2025 12:17 AM #106

@dylans he toughed it out, like pat

Jan 19, 2025 12:17 AM #107

@Crimsonorblue22 that’s what the forced air heaters that are blowing are for. As well as the helmet warmers.

Jan 19, 2025 12:19 AM #108

@dylans their 👂👂 were naked no helmets and beet red

Jan 19, 2025 12:22 AM #109

@dylans do they have ac in there too?

Because the blood is flowing in an area of the body with little to no fat to protect it. If it was truly dangerously cold it wouldn’t be rosy pink. It’s really it that bad out - very little wind and no moisture.

@Crimsonorblue22 said in Former Texans vs Current Texans:

Jan 19, 2025 12:24 AM #112

@dylans I meant when it's hot, sweet cheeks!🤷‍♀️

Jan 19, 2025 12:28 AM #113

Why didn't we hit Hollywood or d hop, he missed d hop. We usually hit them. Guess Travis was more open?

Jan 19, 2025 12:36 AM #114

You’re messin’ with me, right? If not, I apologize. The NFL has a pretty grand budget. Yes they have helmet coolers/heaters on the sidelines. Heated benches. https://dragonseats.com/ ↗ Forced air heaters. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.essentiallysports.com/stories/nfl-news-how-nfl-players-stay-warm-during-extreme-cold-do-their-methods-work-green-bay-packers-kansas-city-chiefs/ ↗ Swamp coolers. https://bigfogg.com/blitz-24-oscillating-sideline-misting-fan/ ↗ heated fields https://m.youtube.com/shorts/c6SZYodKW8E ↗

Jan 19, 2025 12:50 AM #115

A healthy Diggs and Dell and Houston probably wins this. Texans definitely need to upgrade the OLine because Stroud was absolutely beat to hell this season. This is going to be a fun rivalry for the next however long Mahomes is around for.

Jan 19, 2025 12:56 AM #116

@Texas-Hawk-10 Yes Houston will be back if they play their cards right in the offseason.

Jan 19, 2025 12:59 AM #117

I told a buddy the other day this game scared me the most with how good Houston’s defense is. Between AFC and NFC I think the best two defenses just played today. Next week won’t be easy no matter what but I think we will score more points.

Jan 19, 2025 02:09 AM #118

@dylans yes I'm messin

Jan 19, 2025 02:10 AM #119

People need a good conspiracy theory to believe in.

Welcome to the modern world.

Society believes what its leaders tell it to believe at times (sorry, couldn’t help myself).

Jan 19, 2025 07:26 PM #129

@dylans I loved him when he played for the Badgers!

Jan 19, 2025 08:06 PM #130

Like I’ve been saying for some time, this country and world lack so much accountability. The Texans had a great game plan and it worked the difference in the game was special teams and sacks. The refs didn’t miss an extra point and two FGs with the one blocked. The chiefs used a couple of nice returns to setup their offense well. The Texans couldn’t protect Stroud period

Jan 19, 2025 09:27 PM #131

@rockchalkjayhawk "They" have my blessing to do away with stats completely. As you just showed, literally the only stat that matters is who won

Chenal was born in the wrong era. 20 years ago and he's close to a hall of famer. Still a very good player of course, just the game has changed.

Jan 20, 2025 03:06 AM #134

@BShark Chenal has blocked a field goal to win a game against the Broncos, another in the divisional round and one more in the Super Bowl. He already belongs in the hall of good, even if he never earns a yellow jacket. Great roll player.

Jan 20, 2025 04:29 AM #135

Chenal remind me of a high school sr on steroids.
