Hunter playing well

Kevin played well in the first game. Saw a lil of the first quarter now, he’s shying away from the open 3, driving well. Today he’s wearing some kind of mask. Must’ve happened after first game. He did have meniscus surgery last yr, some time.

I think Furphy was a lotto pick had the NIL let him stay and make some money. He has a ton of upside if given the right path.

Timberlake and mayo had so many to’s. Mayo was a ball hog! I would have put the Washburn pg Hanna in more. Our bigs had a lot of put backs. Need somebody to take care of the ball.

With such a huge size advantage, i'm surprised they didn't really post up inside more. Maybe they figured they could easily rebound any misses.

TBT, I find this terribly embarrassing! Mayo sucks! Timberlake missed both throws. Our bigs try to bring the ball up, bad. No D! Think we r down 5 at half.

We won! This is probably the worst game I've ever seen. Everything changed when tyshawn put on a jersey 3rd quarter. Mayo was taking it to the hole and getting throws in the Elam ending but they came back. Mayo could've won it but turned it over. We fouled them, they only needed 1 to win. Tied 57-57. They missed both throws and I think it was Preston that knocked the miss out. So on the throw in, Vick stole the ball and made the layup for the win. A lot of tempers flaring! Self, Jacque, CB and other coaches were there.

@Crimsonorblue22 that is maybe the ugliest game of basketball I’ve ever witnessed. No ball movement, tons of turnovers and just very sloppy play. I’m glad we won but man Cam Martin would help us if he was on our team.

@kjayhawks cam Martin was doing a lot of trash talking. Hard feelings towards us? He got hurt and then moved on the next yr, right? I'm surprised there were no T's.

Another "up" in the roller-coaster ride known as Vick! Hope this signals he has defeated his demons. For some of us it took decades, but thanfully it is all 3 decades in the past for me.

we can give a big thanks for us being in that game because of Tyshawn Taylors hustle and drives. I'll tell you this is they play like this next time they will get blown out.

Sherron let him go, some possessions he never passed once. Dribbled the clock away then lost it.

I thought Big Dave played well, with some spunk.

I still don’t understand why we let the guards dribble off their knees so much instead of using a post up game. Such a size advantage.

JHX lost to Heartfire tonight. Not surprising since Heartfire was runner up last year and won in 2023 and is one of the favorites this year.
