@wissoxfan83 Not Lawrence but to Topeka. Many times. But from South Louisiana to Kansas is better than what I had to drive when stationed at Hurlbert Fld, FL. No interstate until Little Rock.

And even then, the interstate goes straight west which means you have to take a right turn and go north. And then the interstate ends for about 15-20 miles. Pretty drive, just a long painful drive.

@wissoxfan83 we turn at fort smith and take 40 to either Memphis or towards OKC to head to Texas so I've never been south of Fort Smith. You're right it is pretty between ft smith and Rogers. Especially in the fall

Yes, Gasser earlier. The other night when they cheap shotted Gasser we ended the game on a 15-4 run. It was incredible. The badgers said, heck if they're not goiong to call that on Kentucky when it was so obvious to all of americae, then they'll just take matters into their own hands. Decker drove it hard to the hole the next posession and the ballgame was in the books!

TERRIBLE OFFICIALS, WORST GAME OF THE SEASON...I knew dook would resort to their tacky fouls to get something. The refs bailed them out all second half and kept them in the game.

The refs had their way with Wisconsin and it really got them. Did you see the last shot by Dekker? It was a foul on the wrist...NO CALL...They turn around and call a foul on Wisconsin against Winslow....Good God what a terrible game.

Sorry, no race intended but the black ref called fouls against Wisonsin all night long on dook's end...OUTRAGEOUS...every call was for Dook...I am so PISSED right now, I could scream.

How about the call out of bounds call against Winslow? That was so obvious a blind person could've made that call right. These refs were terrible and they give college bball a bad name.

It seems when there are questionable calls in a game of this nature, the refs should be reviewed. They should not be allowed to ref a game of this nature if they blow 1-3 calls. It's awful. I think it should be automatic and refs need to be held accountable. It may not change anything, but they can be held accountable for missed or blown calls. I would even think an investigation could be in order at this point too.

Wisconsin are the Champs in my book.

@truehawk93 my daughter and I usually see eye to eye but she chose Duke tonight. I SHOULD have sent her upstairs to the other TV in the second half. She blew off this call and said, "Hey, our refs make wrong calls. all the time in our club ball." She totally p*ssed me off and I said "HEY-this is a COLLEGE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP." , not a high school club game.

I am still pissed about how the Refs tried to throw the Kentucky game and I'm sensitive about these calls. I even told her don't come to me about bad calls in your little high school games if you can't see it in the final four.

One thing I loved about track and field as I've stated before. It is time and distance. Hard to cheat unless you get away with PED's.

Wonder if ANYONE in the national media will talk about the officiating tomorrow? I know it sounds petty but we all agree what we just WITNESSED, RIGHT????

I turned it off as soon as it was over as well. I saw nothing afterwards. I'll read about it. Bo ought to go off on the NCAA, he really should. This crap has been going on since our final four game in Dallas in 1986 when the refs called 28 fouls against KU and 14 against Duke.

Well, I just read the comments here and found that you all had the same reaction I had while watching the game.

Even my kids were bewildered and angry that duke won.

Refs were questionable once again. There just isn't enough consistency in the game.. And then there's the obvious no-calls against Duke-- two walks and stepped on the baseline out...

But I look at it this way: Duke will be vilified by yet another school

I had friends over to watch the game so I was not able to participate on this thread. It looks like we all watched the same game and the refs surely had an agenda. Everyone here, even the ones rooting for Duke, agreed that the refereeing was one sided and heavily favored Duke. A few calls at the very end of the game were so blatantly bad that makes you wonder the objectivity of the refs, particularly after they saw replays and still ruled for Duke.
Oh well...the Summer University games are not that far away so at least we get to enjoy the sport we love a little sooner than usual.

Kentucky not winning and their system not getting the validation it wanted makes KU's early exit a little less painful. Hopefully the Summer games will be wildly successful and set the tone for next season.
