There's my Marcus Lee... projected in the second round. I wonder how he will remember his Kentucky Wildcat experience? He could have gone to Kansas, been starting and building needed bulk. Could easily have been a lottery pick this year or definitely next year. I guess he feels like gambling bigger on his future now.

Gosh... look how many guys are listed in the 25 or later crowd! 4 guys that might soon be making the big bucks of $25,000 for a 50 game season. What a great payoff for those guys in going to Kentucky. Where is the Slick John recruiting speech promises now? Guess those guys didn't work hard enough...

Wonder if he got the ultimatum to leave school like Kyle Wiltjer did? Do we really want to believe KW wanted to go to Gonzaga and sit a year after being a MCD'sAA? Almost like he was asked to leave so they could open up his scholarship. Wonder if Lee is in the same boat, but can't transfer due to grades and is on the cusp of being drafted?

I am not sure about that, UK can certainly use Lee in an extended role next season.

I think we lost 7 players from the 08 team and we barely skipped a beat. Luckily we had Aldrich and Collins ready to take the team over and keep the continuity. It should be interesting to see how UK does next year with that much turnover.

So even if Lee does not go....there are several openings at UK. I think they have signed 3 guys so far. But.....don't we now expect Newman and Brown to announce for UK? One of the big guys would also not surprise me.
Thoughts?

@Hawk8086 Yes, but Duke also needs to fill Winslow and Okafor's spots. Guys could be spread around more this time.

If some of these guys look at see the non-development at KY vs what they saw at Duke they may change their tunes. Hopefully KU can get in on them as well.

And their last college memory will be of Wisconsin ruining their dreams of making history!!!

Duke isn't thin in the post. Top 15 pick Jeter is signed. They will have Jefferson and Plumlee. Also Sean Obi who transferred avg'd 9 rebounds as a freshman. Swanigan could go there but it seems like California has gained on him..

What they are missing is a playmaker and point guards assuming Jones goes pro with Okafor. They signed Kennard a shooting SF lefty.. Allen and Matt Jones at SG.
They are so desperate they are trying to get Thornton from the 16 class to reclassify.
