Announcing at HoopHall Classic this weekend. I know @drgnslayr really wants this behemoth.

The announcement makes it seem FSU with the timing although they have said January was the plan for a while. FSU guys believe he's going to KU but no info to back it just people's gut feeling. I've asked some of my FSU friends and they were split on answers. Nobody knows for sure but you'd have to believe the home team has the advantage.

Did Self do enough to get this guy??

@BeddieKU23 Many others are probably more informed than I am, but the article I read said that FSU is considered the leader. It seems like most of the time when a leader is identified just prior to the announcement......the leader gets the player.

they have been considered the favorite all along. KU did get involved and has stayed involved so its all up to the kid at this point whether he wants to play close to home or come here.

KU was the favorite for Julius Randle. FSU was the favorite for Wiggins. Who the hell knows.

I feel he will end up at Flordia State, been really quiet, and I too would of loved to have him, and they have been the leader most the time. He would of been a sweet addition, I'm actually becoming some what worried at this point, we may lose out on EVERYONE, and I have always felt I was the eternal optimist in my circle of friends. I feel Marques will probably end up down at that dam N.B.A. factory although I were a recruit, I would be making dam sure rock solid that calipari was going to be there next year and that's not a given by a long shot, but feel now because of him saying he wanted immediate playing time or that was huge for him he is not coming here. Of any of the Big men still out there the only one I think might end up here now- - - is Jarett Allen, which would be fine, I think he is probably our best bet. So tell me are they going to televise this Hoop Hall classic on any of the ESPN affiliate stations? ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY
