Im stealing this from Jesse Newell

I saw @Jesse-Newell tweet this question earlier, thought it needed to be reposted here.

Josh Jackson, most exciting player at KU since ____?

My response?

" The easy answer would be Wiggins, However I am going with Paul Pierce."

My reasoning being purely positional. All 3 guys are swing man. I say Paul because Josh has the same killer instinct and the same Alpha dog mentality.

Before the season started, Wiggins. In terms of watching the kid play, Embiid.

@Lulufulu Not sure if I'd say Pierce because I don't think he was doing what Josh is doing as a freshman. My thought was since Danny M.

McLemore

@Lulufulu Gosh this is a tough question for sure. Im going to with TRob. Not as a freshman but the question doesnt say just freshman, his junior year was just great to watch. He put us on his shoulders and said hang on fellas.

@kjayhawks Dude, TRob, yes most definitely. BEAST!

@wissox What were Pierce's stats as a Frosh?

When Im thinking of my list of players, mostly Im sticking with guards here, from Roy era to Self era... I hesitate to name B.Rush, Chalmers, Hinrich, Langford, even Kenny Gregory just bcuz I dont know if they were doing what Josh is doing right now.

@Lulufulu Pierce was 10 pts, about 5 boards, 2 assists. Not bad, but not AA type stats. Danny was 14.6, almost 8 boards, 3 assists. Nice numbers indeed! Wiggs was 17, 5 and 1.

Ah, and rereading, I was thinking JNew meant most exciting freshman!

@wissox yeah, I think he meant most exciting freshmen too.
