This game isn't a trap game only because most people in the know realize we could lose this game because of how soft we are playing since starting Big 12 play.

@drgnslayr you know, we have been pretty soft all year and have been pretty lackadaisical in numerous areas. Landen's sore foot didn't help, but as a team we have underperformed.

As an overall statement, I agree with you. Some of our big wins may have had less to do with us playing outstanding defense and more about just getting the opposition to play out of sync, (sped up). Some of that relates to tempo on our offense earlier being quicker.
But we did play at least one half of OUTSTANDING DEFENSE. I think it was the Davidson game in the second half... but my memory stinks. We really had 5 guys who locked down, fought hard through screens, switching was fast and decisive, good weakside help, and even a little bit of hedging to cut off driving lanes. So we are CAPABLE right now of playing good defense. I don't think our guys lack motivation. I just think we have a tempo issue (which I covered in a unique thread).

They have two Seniors, two good Juniors and a Sophomore that lead's the team in scoring who will probably be on the all-conference team next year.
Tubby did not leave the cupboard bare. This is a team that was in the tourney last year with another of the "Gunslingers", as Jaybate would call the three new coaches.
Chris Beards took Little Rock to 30 wins and the sweet 16. He was an assistant at Tech for many years. He didn't have to change the system, except to run it with a lot more energy than Tubby.

Ya, that pix of the 2004? TxTech swimteam is in a class by itself, never saw another university swim team, including TxTech, do anything similar. I guess about that same time, those "Women of KU" calendars had become noteworthy, and perhaps this was TxTech's spin on similar publicity, although its an actual TxTech team, not just some co-eds recruited as models to be in a calendar.
I never had a problem with it, from simply a guy's perspective, but I can understand why some may not like it...

Okay, I'm taking the music appreciation gloves off here.
I've seen every one of them but Orb perform live before the Wilburys and once with the Wilburys.
WTF was Jeff Lynne doing with the Wilburys.
Did he supply the junk, or the Ray Bans?
