Ryan Willis transferred to Virginia tech

I saw this and was shocked, figured he'd go NAIA. I would be shocked if ever takes a snap there.

I had high expectations for Ryan and wish he had been given more starts early in last year's season. I wish Ryan well and I thank him for his contributions and efforts at KU.

How in the world did Willis parlay what he did at KU into a scholarship at Virginia Tech???

Just hired and assistant from TCU to come be the Offensive Coordinator. Good move by Beaty, Not only was it needed, but it is a move that probably buys him an extra year. If he didn't hire an OC and then only won 1 Big XII game again this year than he would have been a goner.

@Kcmatt7 I think this is a huge get for Coach. - - Doug Meacham from TCU, where was Co-offensive coordinator, was a 2014 finalist for the Broyles Award as the Nations top assistant coach, has a pretty Good record for improving offensive production - - -Myself? - -love this hire - - - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Anyways, great hire the more I read about him. Apparently was a solid recruiter at OK State. TCU didn't ask him to be a recruiter, so I'm curious what will come out of that. Beaty is a good enough recruiter that I'm not worried about it.

@kjayhawks Good luck! Can you get a loaner from insurance while you wait? My neighbor's car was stolen in the summer and gone for a week. He liked the loaner much better!
