It is always fun to make a joke out of their "burnt orange" 70s school color.
I recall one of the old houses near Memorial Stadium had one of those old burnt orange couches they put by the road with a derogatory Longhorn statement on it before we played them.

Just a suggestion, but I always prefer signs that promote your own team, rather than one that says something derogatory about the opponent or the school. I always try to distance myself from fans like KState and I hope other KU fans do the same. The best sign I saw at our last game was a young woman holding "0 is my Hero." If we get there, something about our 13th Consecutive Championship will likely get on TV.

ALL GOOD ONES as jabs. @wrwlumpy's / @drgnslayr 's modified version is good. But I kinda agree with @stoptheflop that it would be better to say something great about Coach/the team. I saw the "0 IS MY HERO" sign too and that was great.
If we beat Baylor, something as simple as "#13 Jayhawks Big 12 Champs" would honor us and rub it into UT at the same time.

@drgnslayr This is how bad it has come for UT trying to get fans to their games. And the women's team has a good record - they beat Baylor for the first time in many many years last time they met.
@RockChalkinTexas Wish KU tickets in Austin were that cheap.
@RockChalkinTexas I saw that tickets for the KState IState game this week were as low as $4. Sadly, the seats were pretty good too. Now, I compare that to our football ticket prices that start at $25 for general seating (bowl) and $40 for seats on the goal line. Come on KU athletic department, we need people at Memorial Stadium while our team is rebuilding. Please create some specials on tickets to get at least 40,000 in the stadium. Give some good stuff away. Whatever it takes. I hate that the stands are less than half full for athletes who are working their tails off to get us back to respectability. OK, I'm getting off the soap box now. Thank you for your kind attention.

@mayjay Thanks so much. I couldn't have made it through this last year without all my Bucketeers! This will definitely be a different game as Mike and I went the last 8 years. I plan to cheer extra loud.
@Texas-Hawk-10 = What section are you in? I am Section 31. Most KU fans are there to meet the team bus when they arrive - usually an hour before tip off. Chat me up as to where that is if you haven't ever done that. Also, Scholz Garten is where all KU Alum hang before the game.
Sorry I missed the chat last night. Was watching the game with my girls and had such a crappy feed that at one point we listened to Jayhawk Radio.

@RockChalkinTexas I think I'm in section 61. I know it's upper level because that's all that was left at the time. I'm not sure yet what time I'll get into Austin because I'm not going to drive up Friday night after work. I've done the party at Scholz before, not sure if I'll make it this year or not.
