This Lavar dude is something, a notch above Xavier's dad. I am wondering how Self would have handled him if Lonzo was going to KU, lol

@JayHawkFanToo @bskeet You know I disagree. I think Lavar isn't anywhere near the goon he portrays to be. How would he be a successful trainer or business man? I think it is all a show to get his boys and his company more air time. It's highly annoying and silly but I can't make it a day without reading about him somewhere. I highly doubt Magic has any trouble with him and didn't sound like Alford did at UCLA.

I am not sure anyone has portrayed him as a goon, just a boorish loudmouth. His mouth cuts checks his kid cannot cover. Remember he said he would lead UCLA to the conference and national titles? Conference Title? No, Confernce tournament? No, NCAA title? No...and he was outplayed by Fox and then he blamed the loss on playing too many "white" players, you think Alford did not have a problem with it?

@JayHawkFanToo I'm not saying I agree with it or its right but he is blowing up all over place and getting coverage people cant even buy. @mayjay Yep I'll never buy any bbb stuff, too much loud mouth for me. I'm not trying to defend the guy I'm just saying he's doing trying to get more coverage and its working very very well for him.

I'm sorry but I have to totally disagree. Lavar Ball is that Dad on the side lines screaming at his kids. Plus What business does he have? Oh you mean trying to milk his kids for the life style he never earned?
Yes Lavar is getting the free media, yet he is also putting extreme pressure on his kids to preform. It's hard enough to stick in the NBA let alone with your Dad making claims you're the best that has ever picked up a basketball.
Lonzo could be a fine NBA player. Yet with his Dad spouting out his mouth the greatest ever. Anything less than a Lebron or Jordan type career. He will be considered a failure. That's not cool.
