@KUSTEVE I have my good times and bad times. Thanks for noticing ... as I am a "very interested" about ALL KU Basketball activities and discussions.
How about a little personal update on my health. .... I went to a Neurologist over here in Overland Park, KS. in early 2016, Dr. Cochran. As a result of that, she sent me to a Dr. Deutch who specializes in "testing." He did a MRI of my brain and then gave me a "Battery of Neurology Tests" ... that lasted over five hours long in a "rapid and timed tests" in June 2016 that was very stressful. This tested a number of things ... "ability to think," "ability to memorize," and "ability to rationalize what you read, and answer questions based on the content". I found out that I had a "MILD" case of Dementia.
One year later, Dr. Cochran, wanted a second test done which I took just this past June, 2017. This time they gave me the same "Battery of Neurology Tests" for competitive reason and I found out that I had a "NEAR SEVERE" case of Dementia. These results "surprised m" and made me think of my own Mother in her final days whereby she was nothing but a vegetable. No speech, No eye movement, No recognition of who I was. … I asked myself … Am I heading to that same condition ???
The good news is, I feel blessed and still have the ability to know when I'm in a temporary Dementia phase or not. I then pick and choose when my body tells me that I can or can't do an activity or not like paying monthly bills, go grocery shopping, or just go lay down and rest. Right now, I am in a "good time" and therefore replying back to you.
