@BeddieKU23 Was there a recruit in last week? My daughter was on a shuttle at KCI with a tall player and coaches decked out in KU garb.

All are a total waste of taxpayer $$

Walton is on a different planet. Vitale is a good ambassador for college hoops but as a commentator he spends way too much time hyping the next game etc... Seldom talks about the game that is going on.
I personally like Bilas, Miles Simon, & Fran as far as staying on the game at hand and having some (X/O) knowledge.

Dedric reminds me a bit of Collison's game. Very smart and in position all the time.

@BeddieKU23 By rep Frank wasn't, on the court he was the POY. I believe Fran owned up to that mistake. Fran also has the most knowledge I have seen about foreign players. He knew all about SVI before he came to KU.

Does anyone remember the day Princess Diana died in a wreck. For 24 hours plus the networks had nonstop coverage. Did you know that Sister Theresa died the same day, and the only coverage of her was a in a news scroll at the bottom of the screen. I am sorry, but in my opinion there is no comparison between the 2 women and their positive effect on this world. That says all you need to know about the media priorities.

@dylans Living in SE KS and SW MO (far away from the 2 cities) my whole life I have always been a fan of both. You are right about STL has always done baseball very well, KC has always been better on the football side.

@DanR Have fun. I went when they played the Cards. By the 8th inning the stands were full of red.

@justanotherfan Agree completely about the mid-level over the 6,7,8 place in power 5. Also why not finish .500 or better in conference. These are not teams that are going to win the tourney anyway.

@jayballer73 Wow that is too much! I am afraid only a parent that has lost a child can truly understand. I just went to a visitation for a 16 year old last night. Very sad.

@jaybate-1.0 Re-reading my post, I apologize if it appears I am rating one hurt greater than another. Grief is grief and it all is painful. My heart aches for you.

@jaybate-1.0 Parents are tough but at least somewhat expected at some point. Siblings are worse and a different thing. I can't imagine losing a child and have seen that push the parents into a much stronger relationship with God or drive them completely away. It is also can be very tough on the marriage.
Anyone close is hard though. Blessings!

@jayballer73 Very sorry for your loss. Never had a brother myself but last year lost a brother in law that was just as close. Prayers lifted for you and yours.

@jayballer73 Now saying 17 dead. It has been about 20 years but I have ridden the "Duck boats" several times. I believe they were created for the military in WWII. If my memory serves they don't move very fast in the water.

@approxinfinity I enjoyed it when my son played in HS but there is way too much flopping for me to watch on TV. Actually being satisfied with and playing for the tie does not sit well with my competitive nature. I am glad others enjoy it though.
