@jayballer54 He should contact coach K for strategic injury tips. He might need to develop a back injury this year, wouldn't want all these upcoming Ls on his record.

In other news, Western Kentucky lost to Missouri State, 85-80. Coleby had 8 points, 1 rebound, 2 blocks, 2 TO and 4 fouls in 18 minutes. He did start.

Badgers beat SC State. 7 footer Andy VanVliet went 4-5 from trifecta land.

Who woulda thought ISU and WVU would be 0-1 at the beginning of the season?

@RockChalkinTexas ISU was picked near the bottom of the league and Missouri is a good team this year so that wasn't a surprise to me. I'm also not surprised A&M beat WVU because they're both good teams, but the way A&M dominated that game was definitely a surprise.

Also A&M was without two quality players.

College basketball is now a crap shoot. Several players were held out because of possible impermissible benefits and we probably have not seen the end of it. Impossible to tell how the conferences will end up seeing how poorly teams like UK, Indiana, ISU and other played on opening night.

If KU and UK play like they did in the first half of their respective games, KU wins by a bunch. Likely it will be somewhere in between and KU wins comfortably.

A&M looked really good on defense and they were short 2 starters including lotto pick Williams who is a highlight reel. They look like a potential top 10 team.

In the same light maybe west Virginia should have been ranked near the end of the big 12 rankings. They weren't even giving effort on defense and the people they loss from last season have certainly made it seem like the glory days for them are gone

Yeah they do and he will help but they have nothing in the post, no go to scorer or a defense that is anything like they have had
