Ok guys I would really just like to see how our group thinks the games will turn out starting with Texas. Make your prediction, just score is fine OR if you want to give insight as to why - -that's fine too. Be interesting to see how the group feels. - -I'll start:

I think we get the win: - - 85-78. - -Think our 3 pt shooting will be on and play good enough D for the Win. I know they have held their opponents to 60 ppg avg, & 28.2% 3 pt shooting BUT I just feel with come away with the W. - - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

77-68. KU wins.

BTW, speaking of baloney sandwiches, did you see where Double Chin Keegan picked KU to finish 3rd in the B12? I think he's started his New Years drinking a little early this year. Also, it really sucks that they are playing Kentucky/ Louisville at 1PM today. I wanted to see that game. now I'll be reduced to sneaking looks at the box score at work.

KU wins 71-65. Texas is good defensively but doesn't shoot that well.

Ya Texas really struggles scoring the ball, and they not sure if Jones going to be back for the game or not. - -There is talk that he might be back - but they really struggle shooting the ball example - total for game 47-46 - against Tennessee State - -they should of run them off the floor against a squad like that but only scoring 47 points for an entire game? - that's not the only game they have struggled, I have seen multiple times where they have 8-9 points half way through the 1st half - -they just struggle.

It could be a blowout or more likely a close game with KU winning 70-65. I have WVU over OSU in a squeaker 76-74, ISU over KSU in a two point game in the low 70s and Tech over Baylor in a close game in the mid 70s. Looks like 70s will rule the day...I wish the temperature was that high a round here. :frowning:

The score will be the same as the OU - Georgia game. Kansas and Georgia will both win their respective games 82-66.

@Fightsongwriter Wow, really good story, but Doke won't be on the court if the game is on the line and it might come down to free throws! KU wins when Texas foolishly fouls Devonte on a drive, and HE sinks the free throw.

Ok guys I'm going to say this , call me crazy - - call me nuts - -call me insane. I know there have been people saying/talking about Texas defensively and on and on and on ok I get it BUT
I'm going to say this now, might come back and bite me big on the ass but I'm just not really that worried about tonight's game. -- SORRY but I'm just not.

I've seen these guys play just about every game so far this year on some form of TV or what have you but I'm just not that impressed Bamba or no Bamba. - they are Ok, BUT I think some are just flat out giving these guys TO much credit/praise

KU wins...and I am not sure how the hell they manage to pull it out, the way the score looks at 6 min. left in the game.

That score kind of surprised me actually. - I watched the game - -lots of fouls on Lousiville - -but still they just got it took to them. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Good game going on with WV & Oklahoma St 46-39 at the half Okie State. - -You see this arena though? - -not even half full - -that's sad.

@Jayballer54 That's the downside of having a university in Bugtussle. Okie St was also playing a bowl game the night before. Still, there's nothing "historic" about a half filled arena.

We controlled pace and made it and up and down game. That was the key to beating Texas at it's snail pace tempo
