Looks like his dad got sideways with their coaching staff after his injury. He is a kid KU was very interested in before discovering he would be a partial-qualifier (like BMac and Jamari). He could be a bit of a head case (I think he went to three high schools) but if KU loses Vick and Newman maybe the staff takes a look. Right now he is apparently focusing on "getting healthy and exploring all his options". He could even go pro, but that would probably be in Europe.
Plus he got jealous of ponds.. hard pass
We already have one too many guys for next season, I highly doubt KU even pursues him.
@kjayhawks Maybe. Hard to say who is leaving. I wouldn't go after him either but figured I'd bring it up.
If dad is involved, no thanks.
no more transfers for a while, please

I would bet he is. Honestly I think LoVett goes pro. He is already 21.
Lovett has talent. He's small so the likelyhood he sticks in the pro's is unlikely. He could have a great college career for the next few years and expand his options.
I remember KU being one of his big offers when he was being recruited. He got screwed around by the NCAA's when he was coming in if I remember correctly
@BeddieKU23 @KUSTEVE @jaybate-1-0 He is without a doubt very very talented which is the only reason I made the thread. However I think KU is currently in a place where we don't need to take chances to get talent. We saw that come to a head this year with Cunliffe who really isn't ready to contribute to winning bball and having to take Preston when the staff knew he might not ever play a game.

@BShark You're probably right. He oozes trouble. I still would love to have him, though. That guy is so lightening quick, it is astonishing.
Oh he'd be real good for us if he came here and was willing to work. He and Charlie Moore were on the same HS team for one year. How ridiculous is that? lol
