From "hero to goat" in (even by today's standards) record time:
He'll be forgiven.
Also--the Nova team could potentially (not even reasonably likely) return this entire championship team next year. They are just dominant in so many phases of the game. They played hard with a chip on their shoulder. They didn't cave when things were not going their way. I always had Jay as a top replacement for Self if he left over the last 5 years or so for the NBA. I also didn't realize he was the same age as Self, however.
@JayHawkFanToo Jay Wright to the 76ers? I'll believe it when I see it.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Nova gave Jay a huge contract here within the next few months. He’s rated at just the 24th highest paid coach in the nation. Guys like Gregg Marshall (top 15 paid coach and maybe why he’ll never leave), Shaka Smart, Avery Johnson and Archie Miller all make millions more per year, none of which has a NC let alone 2.
@Lulufulu There's nobody worthy of the KU job right now with KU ties that hasn't already coached here previously outside of John Calipari.
Calipari is the only coach out there with KU ties that wins at a clip high enough to be considered for the job. Gregg Popovich of the Spurs is the only coach with KU ties that I would take right now.
Neither Cal, nor Pop are coming to KU which means there's not a realistic candidate worthy of the KU job with KU ties right now.

They don't have the money. His current contract already stretches their budget super thin.
He's was a kid. Those tweets where when he was in high school. We can't hold that against him. Bottom line Coach Jay and Nova are kicking arse and taking names. Though I do have a problem with the university of Villanova trying to cover it up.
Welcome to the "digital age."
Nothing ever really goes away on the net. It's a real-time archive. Truth be.... none of us should show any comments with our real name because eventually something said in those comments won't fit future times and then the trouble starts.
@drgnslayr waaah? Your real name not Dragon Slayer?
Many of the names people call me can't be repeated in here and come with free hand gestures. lol
