KU leading 3-0, defensive game. Dineen w/a great sack!

Should be 10-0 if Lassiter makes that catch. Could also have been 6-0 if KU didn't shoot themselves in the foot multiple times after that drop. Defense has been very good today.

Some didn't want to believe this was a really bad KSU team, but this is a really bad KSU team in all 3 phases.

This is how losing teams lose. - - We have doubled them in time of possession BUT were are down around the 5 yard line driving KSU showing NO signs of stopping the run -we have 3rd & 1 - -2 plays to make a fricking yard and Beaty takes the fg - - ONE FRICKEN YARD.

Lassiter drops a wide open TD - -should be at least 10-0 at the minimum . - -Total yardage -KU -166 -KSU 59 yards -- 59 yards in the 1st half and inly down 3 -when your in a position like this you HAVE to take advantage of the opportunities.

I think you can take it to the bank - we will see Skyler Thompson beginning the 3rd quarter. --- The 3rd quarter is going to be HUGE in this game. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

@jayballer73 The way KSU's offense has looked today, 3 points might be enough. I didn't have an issue with the FG in that spot because it gave KU tge lead. If KU gets in that spot again, they need to go for it to extend the lead. Getting that lead was big and I'm fine with that decision in that situation.

@BShark Why would Bowen be retained at this point? That's a bullshit reason to cheer against KU today. And yes, it does piss me off to see someone claiming to be a KU fan cheering for KSU against KU after Beaty has been fired.

I don't think this game changes that. No way they can retain Snyder after this season imo.

If Beaty wasn’t the HC and Stanley was the QB KU would be up by at least 14.

There was only 1 dropped pass that mattered. The other “drop” was to a guy who would have been tackled for a 3 yard loss so it was a good thing he dropped it. Bender also took a sack on fourth down. He sucks. Period. End of story.

It’s clear that Snyder’s second half adjustment was too run Delton more and shockingly Bowen can’t adjust.

Offense better score everytime now, defense can't stop a simple draw.

Sorry, but that's a load of bullshit. The receivers can't get open on a 4th down and that means Bender sucks? Bender isn't great, but he's nowhere near as bad as you claim.

Carter Stanley has had one good game in his career in 3 years. Stanley has a very weak arm, and no field awareness because he actually gets sacked more frequently than Bender does.

You don't snap it with one second left everytime because the defense will time it. Snap it at any point under 7 seconds so the defense can't time the snap.

@BShark Both of those calls were total crap. Neither had arms extended and neither grabbed outside the chest area. Clark had a hand on the hip, but he didn't grab and Fontana just straight up owned his man.

We had our chances for sure and we blew it but the officiating was without question one sided.

Still bummed about that loss today! I've seen those holds replayed, and I've seen their td, which certainly looks more like a hold. Really wanted those srs to get this win.

We rock at snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

Stuff like this happens to KU football. KSU gets a few lucky bounces to not turn it over on a fumble and a bad snap. While KU gets not one but two questionable holding calls that hauled huge gains. A dropped pass inside the five, every opportunity to be up 14 to nothing at the half, missed tackle on a 4th and 2 to seal the game. Then there’s the QB dropping the ball to end any hope we had (I rewatched that play and if the he passes that ball, the screen was setup so well, we maybe are talking about a W). It never rains but it pours and that’s just the way to describe KU football right now. The Nichols and the KSU loss flatout shouldn’t have happen.
