Texas is only 15.5 point favorites today. That's a sign that KU has earned some respect this year because I would've guessed the line was around 21 points.
Going out with a win in Beaty's final game would be great. It would also be great to force Texas fans to have to cheer for Oklahoma tonight. For Texas fans, that's the equivalent of KU fans having to cheer for Missouri.

Drops still an issue
Hasan Defense is so bad at coverage and tackling. Seems like most big runs receivers have had against KU this year were because Defense missed a tackle or blew a coverage assignment.
That was a dirty shot on Sims, absolutely bullshit there was no flag on that!!!

That was a bullshit no call, I really wouldn't have blamed Beaty for getting 15 on that going off on the refs for that no call.

It may take him a little while longer to get it from the fans, seeing as we've been burned by hiring a big name coach before.

We know you hate Bender, just cheer for the guy today so it looks like you want KU to win. The guy has throw 2 picks all year, he's nowhere near as bad as you keep claiming. He also gets sacked at a lower rate than Stanley. The two things that you always complain about in regards to Bender are things Stanley is worse at than Bender.

There were very few people that liked the Weis hire even at the time. Miles has brought a new energy to the fanbase that hasn't existed in 10 years.
I'm gonna miss Joe Dineen. Can definitely see him playing at the next level.

Carter Stanley is not better than Peyton Bender. There's no stats that back that claim up. Is Peyton Bender a great QB? No, he's not, but he is the best QB on the KU roster.
Stanley has the tools, but has never figured out how to use them outside of the Oklahoma State game this year in his three seasons. There is a reason why Stanley was 3rd string entering the season and has never legitimately beat anybody for the job.
Bender is nowhere close to as awful as you claim.
Just about all of KU's issues offensively today have been the receivers dropping some easy passes and running backs going east/west instead of north/south.
Unfortunately a good targeting call.

On replay that was the right call. Helmet to helmet and Moore led with the top of his head. That was textbook targeting.

That's what I initially thought in real time, but the slow mo replay showed Moore lowered his head a little bit and hit above the facemask.

He was also sub 50% completion with only 1 TD and 1 INT. Steven Sims had much more to do with Stanley's yardage that day than Stanley himself did. That was a great game by Stanley by any stretch.

I'm tellin ya this dam groups of kids has for sure gotten better on this defense - -no blowout at all - - --all year long Texas drives 98 yards on opening possession and then the defense gives up 60 yards total the rest of half -
We have had FOUR MAJOR penalities against us that have just killed us is the main thing. - The I-line is hold up = =Haven't seen really a lot of pressure on Bender -I don't think any sacks at halftime

I was tied up in a phone conference so I was able to watch the game only peripherally. Seems like the penalties were pretty lopsided in Texas favor.

Yes and no. Texas definitely had fewer calls against them, but they also played a more disciplined game. The only really egregious no call against Texas was a late hit on Sims on the opening kickoff. Other than that, this crew was pretty good overall. A few missed calls here and there, but nothing anybody was complaining about too much other than the opening kickoff.

I think a lot of the negativity you might see is just a culture thing that came from being big 12 bottom feeder for so long. Better times ahead for both light and dark siders.
Iāve had a busy day was only able to watch bits and pieces (listen mostly). Looks like yet again the defense played good enough to win. Sadly this team is only about 5 plays from being bowl eligible. I felt like the refs must have been the same crew as in Manhattan. They didnāt cost us the game but several missed calls that werenāt called against Texas and several weak calls on KU. Maybe having a well known and respected coach next season will help get a few of these. I really like this group of seniors and would like to thank them for their hard work. They definitely should be credited for starting this turnaround thatās coming, they couldāve half assed it after knowing Beaty was out and no bowl was happening. Thank you Guys!! Thank You to Coach Beaty, I believe he did the best to his abilities to turn this place around.
