Man the fans there are ready to roast Shaka - were talking ugly - -really ugly: some things being said :+1:

Shaka needs to go - - -that Shaka has the program right where Barnes did - - - -How they have several players acting like they don't care - -- How the fans are fading - - -How half the Crowd Saturday was Red and White( hmmm kinda sounds similar - just different sport ) saying how embarrassing not sold out - - -how fans having ZERO faith in Shaka - - -how this team is no fun to watch ZERO excitement Texas fans asking if Texas would have to eat the money they owe Shaka to get rid of him OR as one fan was quoted and I'm subsisting a word you can just read between the line here the fan was quoted (will we eat the money owed OR stuck with this crap show another year) ? - - people saying next year will be Shaka last shot . - Some wanting to get rid of Shaka now. - Yet some say that Shaka will do just enough to get another year - -give the guy enough time to come up with a short list of possible replacement Coach's to take over for Shaka - -OH woe is me Shaka - -Woe is me

Sounds like Shaka's time at Texas is REALLY limited -- - -tick - -tick - -tick - they are NOT happy - -they want him out - -and out NOW. -- ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

I wouldn't be surprised if Texas gives us all we want tonight. They always play tough in Allen. Shaka isn't going anywhere unless the season is a disaster. 3 Top 100 kids signed on for 2019 as well and a new arena coming down the line.. Not seeing a move.

UT fans don't care because it is basketball. They could be the best team in the league, and the games wouldn't sell out.

@BShark You took the words right outta my mouth (it must have been while.....STOP) - anyway, you're exactly right. Austin is the antithesis of Lawrence.

Football GOOD, Basketball - something to get by until football season.

If they had a Kevin Durant and were 30-0, they might get a full crowd....

Supposedly they are in the process of getting a new arena to create some buzz. Shaka prob has til they get that complete before he is canned.

That should make everyone look a little harder at this. I'm not a Shaka fan. But maybe, just maybe, it is the environment in Austin that is the real problem! Not Shaka or Barnes. I know Texas lost one of the classiest human beings on earth when Barnes left. I don't care what anyone says... the Big 12 suffered a big loss when Barnes left.

@drgnslayr Texas basketball doesn't get support from the UT administration nor from the public, but look at what Barnes is doing at Tennessee - WOW. However, when Shaka moves on from UT, don't look for anything out of him to compare to Barnes. We're talking apples and oranges (no reference to TX) here, and the oranges leave a lot to be desired.
