Diarra Out For KSU
Feb 12, 2019 06:51 PM #1

Broken finger, will require surgery.

Rumor is done for the season.

Feb 12, 2019 07:06 PM #2

The road is long with many a winding turn...

Feb 12, 2019 07:10 PM #3

I have always felt bad for kids growing up with last names like that. Had a teacher once who would have been merciless.

Feb 12, 2019 07:41 PM #4

When he was a little kid, they called him "Squirt"

Feb 12, 2019 07:44 PM #5

I always hate to see guys go down regardless. I want to beat people while we are both at full strength tho this may help even the playing field with our injuries.

Feb 12, 2019 08:05 PM #6

@DanR You're horrible!

Feb 12, 2019 08:06 PM #7

@kjayhawks I was wondering how a KU fan got to him.

Feb 12, 2019 08:54 PM #8

About time we caught a BREAK...sorry, that's just not right.

Feb 12, 2019 10:03 PM #9

Guess they too get to find out how injuries can really challenge a team in the hunt can’t they?

Feb 12, 2019 10:09 PM #10

@truehawk93 Now we really have to knuckle down...

Feb 13, 2019 12:24 AM #13

I don't give a crap if a KSU player got hurt.

Feb 13, 2019 12:34 AM #14

With Diarra on the bench, the game in Lawrence should be an easy, uh... blow out.

Ha - - -did I ask you if you did or not ? roflmao- - I'm simply stating that NOT just KSU - -I'm looking at the BROAD RASH - -of injuries as a total all across the BIg twelve - -Just as I'm sure these others could give a rats as about our injuries roflmao

Feb 13, 2019 12:59 AM #16

Injuries in the B12 have been CHRONIC... PERSISTENT.. EXPLODING... now DIARRA

Feb 13, 2019 01:09 AM #17

We will RUN all over them

Feb 13, 2019 02:01 AM #18

I deeply regret this thread.

Feb 13, 2019 02:44 AM #19

@jayballer73 Calm down sir. I was simply carrying on the junior highish theme of this thread. I don't like to see kids hurt unless their name is Grayson. Can we now resume with scatalogical references?

Feb 13, 2019 02:47 AM #20

KState will have to find someone else to throw it down the hole.

Feb 13, 2019 02:53 AM #21

@wissox shoot it down the 🚽

Feb 13, 2019 02:54 AM #22

@wissox I never want to see a kid get hurt - BUT - if they do get hurt - oh well

Feb 13, 2019 02:56 AM #23

Sounds like Marcus may be out even longer

Feb 13, 2019 03:16 AM #24

Our problem against the purple pussies was that diarra ran all over us...dang...did I just type that?

Come on Horns...Hook 'em \w/

Feb 13, 2019 03:24 AM #27

KSU in good shape in Austin 😐, we still in must win and need help mode.

Could have been Diarra

Feb 13, 2019 03:33 AM #29

@Crimsonorblue22 A whole different meaning to explosive diarrh...

Feb 13, 2019 03:34 AM #30

Come on Texas...the one time I want you to win and you go and get Munsoned in the middle of nowhere

Feb 13, 2019 03:36 AM #31

@mayjay You don't want to GO there.

https://urbanthesaurus.org/synonyms/extreme%20diarrhea ↗

*I hadn't heard of "taking a 1.5" before, but believe me, I'm going to use that if the unfortunate circumstances ever arrive in the future.

Feb 13, 2019 03:38 AM #32

@truehawk93 one of favorite movies lol.

Feb 13, 2019 03:38 AM #33

By the way, I think think this is a good KSU-Texas game thread. 60-57 kitties, with 7-ish left to, um, GO.

Feb 13, 2019 03:40 AM #34

I am definitely impressed with Xavier Sneed. That dude is the real deal for ksuck.

Feb 13, 2019 03:41 AM #35

Course Brown is ... well ... Brown

Feb 13, 2019 03:42 AM #36

Let's see how much HornShakas want this game. My guess is they are perfectly content with beating KU. Their season is over. Mission accomplished?

Feb 13, 2019 03:43 AM #37

Where's all those 3 balls the Horns rained down on us?

Feb 13, 2019 03:44 AM #38

Terrible shooting from the Horns, damn it. They can't hit the broadside of their own barn in broad daylight.

Feb 13, 2019 03:45 AM #39

Assistant Coach Matthew Mcconaughey will inspire them, I'm sure

Feb 13, 2019 03:46 AM #40

@approxinfinity 🥰

Feb 13, 2019 03:47 AM #41

Go Hayes, and whoever is playing KSU!

Feb 13, 2019 03:48 AM #42

I think they said they were hitting 75% 2nd half

Feb 13, 2019 03:48 AM #43

Clock robbed

Feb 13, 2019 03:49 AM #44

Geez. I think the Horns want to give it away.

Feb 13, 2019 03:50 AM #45

Roach time

Feb 13, 2019 03:52 AM #46

Hayes with the flush + 1

Feb 13, 2019 03:52 AM #47

-2

Feb 13, 2019 03:55 AM #48

Dang it Texas you had 1 job

Feb 13, 2019 03:56 AM #49

How on Earth does UT keep Shaka after this season?

Feb 13, 2019 03:57 AM #50

It was stupid to expect texas to do the right thing. Good grief, they are horrible.

Feb 13, 2019 03:57 AM #51

Ok, what the hell Texas huck up all 3s you have

Feb 13, 2019 03:59 AM #52

Shaka has 5 more losses at UT already and 99 less wins than he did at VCU. He is not a good coach

Kcmatt7 said:

No he is not. He got out coached by Liberace.

Feb 13, 2019 04:00 AM #54

Gotta give Shaka some credit. He cashed in on one big win and phoned it in from then on.

Feb 13, 2019 04:02 AM #55

ksuck has ISU, OSU, at KU, BU, at TCU, OU...

ISU is capable

We can beat them

Baylor is capable

at TCU is going to be a good game

Feb 13, 2019 04:03 AM #56

We need to win out, period. That's it.

Feb 13, 2019 04:03 AM #57

DanR said:

Sure he did. He got it his one marquee win. He's good.

Feb 13, 2019 04:04 AM #58

Meanwhile, our buddy Rick Barnes is still a darn good coach over there in Knoxville. SMH

Feb 13, 2019 04:04 AM #59

Bright side is maybe we can poach a recruit or two

Feb 13, 2019 04:05 AM #60

This is what pisses me off about the B12 teams. They beat KU and then coast. Everyone's goal is to be KU and then cruise control. No one else matters. Other wins will be gravy.

Maybe OSU will pull off the upset against ksuck.

Feb 13, 2019 04:06 AM #61

@truehawk93 I'll give KState and coach Liberace credit so far. They're staying focused so far despite the super bowl win at home.

Feb 13, 2019 04:07 AM #62

Texas looked great compared to the 23 pt collapse by UL tonite. Tied. 45 secs left.

DanR said:

A lot of games against some stiff competition. I'm not saying they'll lose, but right now ksuck is vulnerable.

Feb 13, 2019 04:10 AM #64

Never trust a Shaka coached team.

Feb 13, 2019 04:10 AM #65

Let's hope that ISU wins, we can win, and either Baylor or TCU will beat ksuck.

I really think we can beat TT.

KU needs to focus and win the rest of their games one game at a time. When it's all over, we'll see how it all ends.

Duke won.

Feb 13, 2019 04:14 AM #68

Biggest collapse in history by Louie.

ya I was watching that too - - - Louisville swallowed their shoe's I think - -they just flat got intimidates from about the 8 minute mark

Feb 13, 2019 04:16 AM #70

As long as ESPNDuke chokes in the tourney (probable) before the FF, I'm good.

mayjay said:

Are you serious? - -well Louisville just became the butt of all jokes in basketball for awhile - - up 23 at home and then this

Feb 13, 2019 04:17 AM #72

@jayballer73 ESPNDuke + Refs > 23

Dang, I really wanted to believe in them tonight.

Feb 13, 2019 04:19 AM #74

It's not over, not yet.

Feb 13, 2019 04:20 AM #75

@jayballer73 Nothing wrong with me. You totally mis read my comment and then didn't understand my explanation. I did call you sir just so you wouldn't get upset

Feb 13, 2019 04:20 AM #76

DanR said:

@jayballer73 ESPNDuke + Refs > 23

It was not about the refs. UL passed the ball directly to Duke at least 5 times, and took stupid shots many more than that.

wissox said:

ok sir you can have the last word - it's ok -- but now I'm going to bed - -watching Louisville just wet themselves made me really tired -- -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Feb 13, 2019 04:23 AM #78

@mayjay they won on a reviewed call that would have been a charge for the past 100 years

Feb 13, 2019 04:24 AM #79

@wissox did u take your chill pill?

Feb 13, 2019 04:25 AM #80

@DanR Except under current rules bad charge calls can get reversed. The UL player's entire foot was inside the arc.

Feb 13, 2019 04:25 AM #81

@Crimsonorblue22 no he doesn't have to take it- - - he called me sir lmao

Feb 13, 2019 04:26 AM #82

@jayballer73 he's a good man

@jayballer73 I'm not

Feb 13, 2019 04:27 AM #85

@mayjay thanks for the explanation

Feb 13, 2019 04:29 AM #86

@Crimsonorblue22 Ha, I'm about to because the doctor prescribed it.

Feb 13, 2019 04:34 AM #87

Kcmatt7 said:

They don't give a rat's ass about basketball. That's why it took nearly a decade to finally find a location for a new basketball arena and why said arena will only have a 10,000 seat capacity for basketball.

Feb 13, 2019 04:48 AM #88

I thought I'd be somewhat happy with a UK and Dook loss but no UL screwed that up. The hell with this Tuesday.

Feb 13, 2019 04:53 AM #89

@wissox in the theme of the thread don’t forget the Imodium.

I don’t give a crap about a some stool from KSU either! I’m sure he’ll leak out onto the court again next season. Really clingy on defense; hard to wipe clean with a screen. One may say he’s a bit too loose on offense though.

@BShark you started it!

MAN HOW COULD YOU PLAY IN A PLACE LIKE THAT? - -I MEAN tEXAS FANS ENEREGY LEVEL LIKE WATCHING A tennis MATCH -- tEXAS SCORE AND GET A NICE POLITE SMATTTEING APPLAUSE - YOU HEAR THAT

Feb 13, 2019 04:59 AM #93

I didnt watch any games, just saw scores. I wonder if they can review just if they are in the restricted area, if not I dont like the idea. A block/charge is always a judgement call, like a ball/strike call. I'm with Bilas, too much time us spent reviewing crap.
