Could be a yawner for KU fans. ESPN's latest didn't have Lawson as even a 2nd round pick at this point. I know the 2nd round can be a crapshoot but still. Will be interesting to see where Lawson lands if he's not drafted.
The Top 3 picks seem set in stone. Zion, Morant, Barrett. After that I'm not sure of the quality of this draft tbh.
I see Darius Garland is being mocked in the Top 10. High risk pick that high up after missing most of his freshman year.
Same for Bleacher Reports' last mock...
Lawson not getting drafted is probably better for him honestly. His agent can find the situation that would give Lawson the best chance at making a roster instead of being locked into a situation that isn't guaranteed to be a great fit for him.

Jaxon Hayes from Texas to Atlanta - -traded to New Orleans -at * 8 - -nice
You know, I'm thinking that San Antonio would be a hell of a good fit for Lawson.

@kjayhawks Yeah, and look at Kentucky the year that they were undefeated. Look at Cal and Roy loading up on all the grad transfers, they recognize it too. I'm telling you, I'm bigtime down with the class that we signed this year!
With the 19th pick, the San Antonio Spurs select Luka ....Doncic. We wants him. Is he still available?

@Marco Coach K is about the only coach that has came out in support of the OAD. I get it in a way because hes winning these recruiting battles l (#1 class 4 years running) but hes won nothing with those classes. Cals best teams have had some guys with experience as well, that unbeaten team to the FF had a few sophomores and a junior.
Lawson signed a Summer League deal with Golden St. I think he'll end up overseas at some point with a good contract

Thanks, I dont think we even had a guy entered in 2009. That team didnt have a OAD or any seniors.
No surprise that KU didn't have anyone drafted. Before the season, Grimes was the only one really on the radar. Once he fell off, it was pretty clear that no one was going to hear their name called. Depending on what happens next year, I could see the potential that KU might not have anyone picked then, either.
@justanotherfan I agree, Vick could've been a late first rounder had he kept his head in the game. I think Dotson, Ochai, Doke and SDS will all be drafted next year. I dont know if anyone goes in the lottery but it sounds like Dotson and Doke would've been drafted late 2nd round this year.
@kjayhawks Vick was never going to be drafted. He only had one skill and he was a streaky at best shooter. Nothing about Vick's game said was NBA level.

I had to log in for this! I am in Hawaii (please, no tears, we will get through it!) and saw a blue Duke Tshirt with a big "2019 ACC Tounament Champions" banner.

The Hawks' #10 pick this year was the pick they got from Dallas for trading Luka Doncic for Trae Young. If Reddish is a bust, then it wasn't worth it.
