I figure Pooka is probably out of here after this season, and Herbert hoped to hang around and be the main man next year. ( just a guess )

Herbert is a very good back that can help a top 25 program next year as a lead back and significantly increase his draft stock. If he can put up almost 300 yards in a game behind KU's OLine, imagine what he could do on a regular basis behind a quality OLine?

It's a very interesting story, I'd say that Les and Co think Pooka will be here next season and/or he has another recruit that he thinks is better, and/or that Gardner is better.
